When the cap nut 3 is screwed to the cylindrical part 22, the end of the sleeve 4 to be received by the tapered contact regulating part 23 is guided by the tapered contact regulating part 23 and deformed inward in the radial direction by the approach-movement of a pair of contact regulating parts 23, 33, the deformed part is engaged with the recessed linear part 1b of the pipe member 1, and the pipe member 1 is connected to a coupling T.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate connection of a flexible pipe and to improve the slip-off protection strength of the flexible pipe. SOLUTION: This flexible pipe coupling comprises a cylindrical coupling main body cylindrical main body 1 in which a bellows-form flexible pipe 8 having crest parts 81 and root parts 82 interconnected alternately and in parallel is inserted; an engaging member 5 arranged in the coupling main body cylindrical main body 1 and engaged with the crest part 81 of the flexible pipe 8 and holding the flexible pipe 8 in a slip-off stop state; and an annular seal member 6 located in a fit-in part between the tip part of the flexible pipe 8 and the coupling main body cylindrical main body 1. The engaging member 5 is provided with a plurality of the engaging piece parts 51 gradually extended to the inner peripheral side toward an insertion direction and aligned in a peripheral direction. The section of each engaging piece 51 is arranged approximately in parallel to the peripheral surface of the flexible pipe 8. Each of the engaging piece part 51 is positioned at the root part of the flexible pipe 8 in an insertion state. The diameter of a virtual circle to intercouple the tip edges of the engaging piece part 51 is set to a value lower than the outer peripheral diameter of the crest part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which permits the installation works of pipe members to be smoothly carried out, and concurrently can reduce production costs. SOLUTION: In order to make connection at the end part of a pipe member 1 over the outer circumferential surface of which each projected strap part 1a and each recessed strap part 1b are alternately laid along the circumferential direction, the pipe joint is equipped with a pipe joint main body 2 provided with a male screw part 21, and with a cylindrical part 22, a box shaped nut 3 provided with a hole part 32, and with a female screw part, and with a sleeve 4 which is outwardly fitted in the pipe member 1 while being supported by an abutting part at the main body side of the pipe joint main body 2 and an abutting part at the nut side of the box shaped nut 3. In the pipe joint T where the main body side abutting part that is formed into a taper shape, or a sleeve end part to be supported by the nut side abutting part, is deformed in the radial direction toward the inner side by letting the pipe joint main body 2 and the box shaped nut 3 be threadedly engaged with each other so as to be engaged with the recessed strap parts 1b, the nut side abutting part 33 is formed out of a presser ring 33A capable of pressing a sleeve 4 while being slid with the sleeve 4.
