摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent the clogging of a nozzle and to restrain the entrapment of powdery inclusion into poured molten steel by laminating a refractory having the gas permeability, and containing no carbon source at a gas blowing part of the nozzle. CONSTITUTION: The immersion nozzle body 1 is formed of a carbon-containing refractory of alumina-graphite-base material, and on the outer peripheral surface at the slag line part, a reinforcing part 2 composed of zirconia-graphite, etc., is formed. Further, on a bosh part 3 and a straight barrel part 4 in the inner peripheral surface and further, on the whole inner surface of a molten steel spouting hole 5, the refractory laminated body 6 containing no carbon is laminated. Mortar joint 7 is arranged between this refractory laminated body 6 and the nozzle body 1, and at the upper part thereof, a hollow chamber 8 is formed as a gas pool. Inert gas introduced from an inert gas introducing hole 9 is spouted through the refractory part containing no carbon from the hollow chamber 8 and spouted to the inner part of the nozzle from the bosh part 3. By this constitution, the pickup of carbon in the molten steel is prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE: To surely prevent solid solution of carbon in molten steel from a nozzle and also clogging of the nozzle by interposing a joint gap of specific thickness between the nozzle and a cylindrical coating member. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical carbon-less inner hole body 3 containing no carbonaceous material is fitted in the inner hole surface of the immersion nozzle body 1 for continuous casting. The joint gap 4 having 0.5-2.0mm thickness is provided as a margin to absorb the expansion caused between preheating before using the nozzle 1 and heating during using, between the carbon-less inner hole body 3 and the nozzle body 1 and fixed with mortar, etc. Further, a shrinkable material of ceramic wool, soft rubber, soft vinyl, cloth, etc., are stuck beforehand between the inner hole body 3 and the immersion nozzle body 1 to secure the joint gap 4. By this constitution, the pickup of the carbon into the molten steel during the continuous casting operation is prevented without obstructing the spalling resistance of the refractory constituting the body itself.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with many casting condition by one piece of continuous casting nozzle. SOLUTION: This nozzle is constituted of a nozzle body 1 provided with a through-hole 12 in the direction cross to the axial direction of a main flowing hole 11 and an insertion body 2 having an introducing hole 21 leading to the main flowing hole 11 of the nozzle body 1 and a discharging hole 22 and the outer surface shape corresponding to the cross sectional shape of the through- hole 12 to be arbitrarily attacked/detatached to/from the through-hole 12 of the nozzle body 1. This nozzle can properly be used in accordance with many kinds of casting conditions only by preparing the inserting body 2 having various shaped discharging holes 22 and inner holes 21 for one piece of a common nozzle body 1 for continuous casting. Further, since the nozzle can be assemble just before using at the using site or before shipping from the manufacturing place, it is unnecessary to prepare many nozzles at the using site.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the looseness of a bayonet by arranging one or more of grooves in the radial direction on the circular direction of the spiral engaging surface at either one in an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder and fitting projection having elasticity inserted into the groove in the radial direction on the other engaging surface. SOLUTION: A refractory 22 sticking mortar 29 on the surface is fitted to a tapered opening hole part 21. Successively, the fastening plate 18 of a fastening metallic material 15 is inserted into a removing metallic material 14 through a fastening plate inserting groove 17. Thereafter, the second spiral engaging surface 18a of the fastening plate 18 is engaged with the first spiral engaging surface 16a of a receiving plate 16 by grasping a handle 23 and turning the fastening metallic material 15 to the receiving metallic material 14 in a prescribed turning direction. The pushing surface 20 of the fastening metallic material 15 to the refractory is gradually risen by engaging these spiral engaging surfaces 16a, 18a and the refractory 22 is intensely pressurized and fixed to the tapered opening hole part 21.

CONSTITUTION:The annular member 1 is a heat resistant packing composed of ceramic wool, resin and rubber, etc. This member is fixed by inserting on the upper end surface of a seal pipe 2 as a nozzle for casting through a metal case 3. In the annular member 1, the fitting hole 1a is arranged and this fitting hole 1a is formed at smaller than the outer diameter at the lower end of a lower nozzle 4. At the time of connecting the seal pipe 2 and the lower nozzle 4, the annular member 1 is deformed in the pushing direction and brought into close contact with the outer periphery at the lower end of the lower nozzle 4 to prevent the invasion of the air. Further, as the heat resistant seal material is not used to the joining surface between the seal pipe 2 and the lower nozzle 4, at the time of casting, the molten steel and the annular member 1 are not brought into direct contact, and even in the case of using for long term, it is no fear that this nozzle quality is deteriorated.
