    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-preventive structure of pipeline which simply improves corrosion-preventive performance of buried pipeline.SOLUTION: A corrosion-preventive structure of pipeline in which an outer circumference of buried metal pipe is covered with polyethylene sleeve, adjacent edge parts of the polyethylene sleeves are overlapped with each other, a rubber band is wound around the outer circumference of overlapped part of the polyethylene sleeve and, thereby, water permeation from the edge part of the polyethylene sleeve is prevented, comprises water-absorbing swelling material disposed between the outer circumference of the pipe and the inner circumference of the rubber band. Thereby, even when water permeation occurs from the edge part of the polyethylene sleeve to the inner side, the water-absorbing swelling material is swollen, therefore, closes an advancing path of water, strengthens the tightening by means of the rubber band, stops the water permeation to the buried pipeline and can prevent corrosion of the pipeline.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solvent-type coating composition for a metallic pipe with a small environmental load, which can, without adversely affecting various functional demands for coating materials for metallic pipes, inhibit solvent odors and abbreviate drying time; and a metallic pipe coated with the same.SOLUTION: The provided coating composition for water-contacted portions of a metallic pipe includes a resin and a solvent, wherein the solvent does not include, as a main component, a water-insoluble, low-volatility solvent (a), but includes at least 25 wt.% of a water-soluble solvent (b), and includes no water. The coating composition preferably includes at least 3 wt.% of a high-volatility solvent (c). Also provided is a metallic pipe wherein water-contacted portions thereof are coated with the coating composition for water-contacted portions of a metallic pipe.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the entire coating time in a method of coating front and back surfaces and to excellently coat the surface of a lower appropriate temperature. SOLUTION: After coating an inner surface 2 as the back surface of a higher appropriate temperature of the inner and outer surfaces 2 and 3 of a ductile cast iron pipe 1 as an object to be coated at the appropriate temperature of 200°C, the ductile cast iron pipe 1 is forcibly cooled to the lower appropriate temperature by spraying cooling water from cooling water nozzles 6a and 6b and blowing air from an air nozzle 7, and the outer surface 3 as the front surface of the lower appropriate temperature is coated at the appropriate temperature of 70°C.
