摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal centrifugal dewatering device in which dewatering performance is enhanced and both conservation of energy and cost reduction are contrived. SOLUTION: In the centrifugal dewatering device, a screw conveyor is held inside a high-speedily rotated bowl 1. The bowl 1 is formed into the straight drum shape of a horizontal cylinder and a discharge port 7 of separated liquid C is provided in the outer peripheral part in its rear end wall 3 and also a suppressed ring 8 is projected in the front inner periphery of the bowl 1 provided with a sludge port 6. On the other hand, in the rotary drum 11 of the screw conveyor, the feed ports 15 of raw liquid (a) are provided in the rear part thereof and also a suppressing flange 18 is projected in the outer periphery of the front of the rotary drum 11. A narrow extrusion port 19 is formed between the suppressing ring 8 and the suppressing flange 18.

In the screw conveyer 10, raw liquid can be supplied to the rear part corresponding to the discharge part 6, and a blade 16 for scraping sludge adherent to the screen.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the degradation in a moisture content and to improve separation efficiency by directly discharging sludge from segment in a bowl where the moisture content is lowest of a decanter type centrifugal separator. SOLUTION: The centrifugal separator constituted by housing a screw conveyor rotated at a relative speed difference from the speed of a bowl rotated at a high speed in the bowl is provided with a discharge route 20 for dehydrated cake within one end wall 2 of the bowl 1. An opening 20a of the route 20 into the bowl 1 is disposed near the inner peripheral wall of the bowl and a discharge port 20b to the outside of the end wall of the discharge route is disposed in a position higher than the same, i.e., in a radial position smaller than the radius of the inner peripheral wall of the bowl. As a result, only the discharge cake (b) from the discharge route 20 from the segment where the compaction effect by the water head pressure of the centrifugal force acting on deposits in the precipitation layer deposited at one end of the bowl 1 is highest is discharged through the discharge route 20.

In a dehydrating dryer which flash drys the sprayed solids by means of the hot air which flows in a spiral form, a spiral shaped guide plate 14 which induces the flow of hot air to the location near at least an inlet port of hot air of the flash dryer is provided, thus rectifying the flow of the hot air around the inlet port, and preventing the dried material from sticking to the inner surface of the dryer by maintaining the wind velocity.
