    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the attaching construction of flights and chains, and to make replacement easy in a conveyor for a muck loader comprising the conveyor vertically supported so as to be tiltable by a traveling vehicle, tilting vertically by the activation of a hydraulic cylinder, and provided with a table in the front end, and a boom attached with a bucket scraping in muck to the table in the front end and supported so as to be tiltable and expandable by the traveling vehicle, wherein the conveyor is provided with long wear plates extending in the muck conveying direction and the flights connected with a constant interval to endless chains disposed in both sides of the wear plates and moving on the wear plates by the circulation driving of the endless chains.
      SOLUTION: The chains are of roller chains 7, pins 12 connecting roller links 9 with each other in both sides of the roller rinks 9 protrude from the roller links 9, and the ends of the flights 11 are fit to the protruded parts and fixed by screwing nuts 13 to the protruded parts of the pins 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring technique for measuring the particle size distribution of a particulate material, capable of continously and accurately measuring the particle size and particle size distribution of sand by a simple technique.
      SOLUTION: The particle size distrubition measuring apparatus is constituted of a means for measuring the amount of the particulate material during falling, a means for measuring the particle size of the particulate material during falling and an arithmetic processing part for calculating the particle size distribution of sand on the basis of the measuring data of both means. The means for measuring the amount of the particulate material comprises a pressure receiving plate 31 against which a particulate material group impinges and a sensor 33 for measuring the surface pressure of the particulate material group impinging against the pressure receiving plate 31. The means for measuring the particle size of the particulate material comprises a vibration receiver 34 vebrated by the impingement of the particulate material group and a sensor 35 for measuring the vibration of the vibration receiver 34.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flash dryer which does not form the sludge in lump form stuck to the wall surface of the flash dryer or cause any problems to the drying process in a dehydrating dryer integrally formed with the flash dryer which stably changes the solids that have a high water content and large quantities of organic components into dried granule. SOLUTION: Hot air is fed in a drying chamber 5 formed in a space between a centrifugal dehydrator which spouts the solids with a high water content obtained by separating the solids from a suspension for sedimentation from a location near a corn-shaped part end, and a casing 2 provided outside thereof, and then the solids with a high water content are sprayed. In a dehydrating dryer which flash drys the sprayed solids by means of the hot air which flows in a spiral form, a spiral shaped guide plate 14 which induces the flow of hot air to the location near at least an inlet port of hot air of the flash dryer is provided, thus rectifying the flow of the hot air around the inlet port, and preventing the dried material from sticking to the inner surface of the dryer by maintaining the wind velocity.

In such a case, the position of the projecting part 11 of one side crushing body 1a (1b) and the position of the recessed part 12 of another side crushing body 1b (1a) are formed to face each other, and the tip dimension L1 of the projecting part 11 of one side crushing body 1a (1b) and the inlet opening dimension L2 of the recessed part 12 of another side crushing body 1a (1b) are formed so as to be nearly the same. As a result, when the swing jaw is oscillated, the raw material is crushed by shearing.
