    • PURPOSE: To dispense with parts such as a holding member for mounting a valve seat and easily mount the valve seat by forming an annular enlarged diameter stage to fit the valve seat therein in the opening edge of an exhaust hole in an air valve and press fit the valve seat in the enlarged diameter stage. CONSTITUTION: A valve casing 1 is formed in the inside with a float chamber and in the upper part with an exhaust hole 3 communicating to the float chamber and the outside. A floating valve element for opening and closing the exhaust hole 3 is provided in the float chamber wherein an annular enlarged diameter stage 13 to fit a valve seat 12 with a square section is formed in the opening edge of the exhaust hole 3. Also, the valve seat 12 is formed of an annular rubber member 15 made of an elastic body and a metallic core material 16 with the same square section inserted in the rubber member 15 over the circumferential direction. The rubber member 15 of the valve seat 12 is compressed radially by press fitting the valve seat 12 in the enlarged diameter stage 13 to surely hold the valve seat 12 slastically in the enlarged diameter stage 13.

    • PURPOSE:To automatically change gears by combining a gear which is axially moved in a direction corresponding to that of rotation of a handle shaft, an epicyclic gear mechanism, and a cam clutch. CONSTITUTION:To close a gate, a handle shaft 24 is rotated in the direction indicated by the white arrow and then a second gear 29 is driven and rotated via a first gear 28 and is threadably engaged in the thread portion 31 of a shaft 30 and is therefore displaced axially backward and pressed into contact with a disc 32 via a frictional plate 34, and an one-way cam clutch 44 is off in the direction of this rotation and an epicyclic gear mechanism 36 is not actuated and torque is directly transmitted to an output shaft 27. To open the gate, the handle shaft 24 is rotated in the direction indicated by the black arrow and then the second gear 29 is rotated via the first gear 28 as well as displaced axially forward by the thread portion 31 and pressed into contact with a disc 33 via the frictional plate 34 and then the shaft 30 is rotated and a sun gear 40 is rotated. The one-way cam clutch 44 is on in the direction of this rotation and torque is transmitted to the output shaft 27 via an epicyclic gear 41 and a carrier 41.

    • PURPOSE:To automatically change speed steplessly without high-priced parts and electrical control by displacing a speed change ring in its axial direction using a cam having an inclined face at the end surface and a spring for displacing the cam according to the load of an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:During no-load of an output shaft 26, a bearing 40 is forced to press an inclined face 4a by a spring 45 to clamp a portion of a cam 39, which has the minimum axial thickness, to support the cam. The output shaft 26 can be rotated at high speed by suitably setting the positional relationship of a speed change ring 38 to a cone 32. When load is applied to the output shaft, the rotating force is transmitted from the cone 32 to the speed change ring 38 to produce the rotating force in the cam 39, and the inclined face 49 displaces the bearing 40 against the spring 45 to rotate the cam 39, so that the cam is displaced in the axial direction to attain a suitable speed change ratio. When the load torque is decreased, the cam 39 is quickly returned to the position of the minimum speed change ratio by the force of a return spring 50.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an exhaust port from being closed by a floating valve during the period of time for exhausting a plenty of air by providing a plurality of air vent holes for the circumference of the inlet port of a float ih the air valve equipped with the floating valve which opens/closes the air vent holes by vertically moving the float. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of air vent holes 14 is provided for the circumferential section of the air inlet port 13 of a float 2. When fluid in a pipe line does not flow in a valve box 1, an exhaust port 10 is opened by a float valve 3 with the float 2 moved down so that a plenty of air in the pipe line is exhansted out to atmosphere. When fluid in the pipe line flows in the valve box 1, the float valve 3 is pressed onto the exhaust port 10 with the float 2 raised up, the overflow of fluid to atmosphere is thereby prevented. when a plenty of air is exhausted with the float 2 lowered, air sometime flows into a gap between the lower surface of the float 2 and the bottom section of a lower valve box 7, an air vent hole 14 however sets said air free above the float 2. By this constitution, the floating valve 3 thereby will never close the exhaust port 10 while the float 2 is raised upward by air pressure.
