    • PURPOSE:To make rotation smooth in the case of being used under the magnetic field environment by forming inner and outer bearing rings of steel, and forming rolling elements between both bearing rings of ceramics. CONSTITUTION:When a first joint member 3 is rotated by drive mechanism, attracting force acts between the permanent magnets 8A, 8B of the magnet ring 7 of the first joint member 3 and the permanent magnets 19A, 19B of the magnet ring 18 of a second joint member 15, and the second joint member 15 is rotated by the same quantity in the same direction as the first joint member 3. Since both inner and outer rings 11, 12 and 22, 23 of ball bearings 9, 21 are formed of steel, and the balls 13, 24 of the ball bearings 9, 21 are formed of ceramics, the increase and fluctuation of torque under the influence of the magnetic field can be suppressed. Also, since the magnetic flux is concentrated on the groove 14 of the outer ring 12 and the groove 25 of the inner ring 22, abrasive powder generated from both inner and outer rings 11, 12 and 22, 23 made of steel is collected into the grooves 14, 25 by the attracting force. The abrasive powder is thereby prevented from biting into a raceway track so as to make rotation smooth.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal wear or premature exfoliation by forming cogs at the periphery, and interposing rollers in the form of an hour-glass between an outer ring, at whose internal circumference a convex spherical surface track is formed, and an inner ring at whose periphery a convex spherical surface track is formed. CONSTITUTION:Cogs 12 are formed at the periphery of an outer ring 1, and a convex spherical surface track 11 is formed at the internal circumference. A convex spherical surface track 21 is formed at the periphery of the inner ring 2, and a shaft 4 is fitted in the bore. Between the spherical surface tracks 11, 21, rollers 3 in the form of hour-glass whose running surfaces are identical to the tracks 11, 21 are interposed at a certain spacing. The motion of each roller 3 in the axial direction is restrained by the outer ring 1, and when a relative inclination is produced between the outer ring 1 and inner ring 2, the roller 3 makes relative movement in pursuit to the outer ring 1, and the outer ring 1 rotating direction becomes identical to the running direction of the roller 3. This prevents generation of relative slippage between the two to lead to preclusion of abnormal wear or premature exfoliation of the track surface of the outer ring 1 and the running surface of the roller 3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing for supporting a horizontal rotor such as a supporting bearing for a CT scanner restraining collisional sound of a ball 113 and a holder 116 while preventing ball clogging in a pocket and also preventing electrocorrosion.
      SOLUTION: This ball bearing has a specified pocket clearance by the holder 116 between a pair of bearing rings 111, 112 and has balls 113 arranged with equal intervals in the circumference in it. A relational expression of BPCD≥700 [mm] and Bc/Bd≥0.05 is satisfied by specifying a diameter of each of the ball 113 as Bd, a pitch circular diameter of each of the ball 113 as BPCD and a pocket clearance as Bc, and each of the balls 113 is made of ceramics. In the meantime, the holder 116 is, for example, made of resin.
