    • PURPOSE:To establish method and device for inserting a scroll in a cartridge in safety by aligning the direction of the tongue end of the scroll with the direction of the film drawing-out port of the cartridge whose one side has been capped, and to stably produce roll film for 135 type photography with high quality and with high efficiency. CONSTITUTION:The leading edge of photographic film F having specified length is locked in a spool 35 and taken up, and the scroll 30 whose tongue end 36 having specified length is left is detached from a take-up shaft and inserted in a cartridge 20 in this method and this device. The detached scroll 30 is held by a holding means, the tongue end 36 is clamped while it is wound and tightened, and futher the surface of the tongue end 36 between the scroll holding means and a position for winding, tightening and clamping the tongue end 36 is pressed in one direction by a pressing lever 323, and the position of the lever 323 is adjusted, then the side edge of the tongue end 36 is aligned with a cartridge slit port, whereby the scroll 30 is inserted in the cartridge 20.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film unit with a lens being gentle to environment and a cartridge housing case by molding at least one of a front cover and a rear cover out of a mixture of very small paper pieces and resin. SOLUTION: The film unit with the lens is provided with a camera main body previously housing an unexposed film, the front cover 20 attached to the front surface of the camera main body and the rear cover 30 attached to the rear surface of the camera main body. At least one of the front cover 20 and the rear cover 30 is molded out of the mixture of the very small paper pieces and the resin. Further, a paper cover 80 made of cardboard, on which a trade name, simple directions for use, etc., are displayed is attached. As the material of the paper cover 80, a pellet is used and in this pellet, waste paper as the very small paper pieces is used as essential materials and a kind of olefin are granulated as a binder. Thus, even if the front and rear covers 20, 30 and the camera main body, which can not be reused are incinerated, an incinerator is never damaged so that the film unit with the lens being gentle to the environment can be provided.

    • PURPOSE:To improve efficiency in the case of loading a film and to reduce a cost by housing a spool in which the leading edge of the film is fixed and a cartridge in the film unit provided with a lens and attaching a back cover after the film is taken up in a dark room. CONSTITUTION:The cartridge P is housed in the cartridge chamber 11 of the camera main body 10 of the film unit 1 with the lens, and the spool S in which the leading edge of the film F of the cartridge P is drawn by a specified length and fixed is housed in a scroll chamber 12. In the dark room, the spool S is wound by a winding device, the film F of the cartridge P is taken up to the spool S by the specified length, and the back cover 20 is attached after the film is taken up. Consequently, while the film F is wound, a film guide part 21 provided on the back cover 20 is not brought into contact with a surface on a side opposite to the emulsion coated surface of the film F, so that the surface of the film is not damaged. Therefore, the film F can be taken up to the spool S from the cartridge P at a high speed, and the efficiency of the film loading can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To improve certainty and stability of capping of the cartridge by fitting a shell part to be fitted of the cartridge with the cap along a cylinderical guide surface provided on a holding means of the cap, drawing the outer diameter of said shell part. CONSTITUTION:A pair of the holding means 40 of the cap is provided symmetrically on a fixed rail supporting means 42 of a turret substrate on either side thereof. The supplied cap 1 is holded tightly by closing claws 46 provided at the tip of a chuck base 43 of the means 40. While, a scroll which is put in the shell member 2 of the cartridge is transferred to a prescribed position, supporting loosely by clampers 12 and 13 of the holding means of the shell 16. The spindle 61 of the holding means 40 is drown out, and a boss of the spool 5 of the scroll is effected centering, followed by holding the boss. Thus, the chuck base 43 drown out, and the cylindrical surface of the claws 46 brings in contact with the end part of the part 3 to be fitted of the member 2, followed by inserting the part 3 between the claws 46. Next, when the clampers 12 and 13 are opened with each other, the member 2 is enlarged by means of spring elasticity of the member 2, thereby fitting certainly the member 2 with the cap 1.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent film flawing and pressure fogging of film in a film unit with a lens. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a regulating member for regulating the position in the optical axis direction of a film F, which surface comes into contact with this film F in a spacing from a main body 11 is provided with a projecting part group 12A successively provided with at least two pieces of projecting parts for regulating the film F perpendicularly to the film feed direction. At least three groups of these projecting film groups 12A are disposed in the film feed direction. The film unit has the main body 11 which is provided with a image frame for regulating a photographing region, first rails respectively disposed near the image frame in the film width direction and second rails respectively disposed outside these first rails and a rear cover 12 which is provided with a central surface part facing the image frame, first surface parts projected by having the spacing to permit traveling of the film from the end of the central surface part and respectively facing the first rails and second surface parts formed to long grooves thinner than the thickness in the central surface part by respectively coming into contact with the second rails.
