摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the superconductor consisting of a polycrystalline substance having a high Tc and a good orientational property by heating the raw powder for a YBaCuO-based oxide superconductor to high temp., then cooling, crushing, sufficiently agitating and mixing the powder, packing the mixture into a flexible tube and applying isobaric treatment and superconducting phase growth treatment. CONSTITUTION:The raw powder for forming an REBaCUO-based oxide superconductor (RE is rare-earth elements including Y) or the material formed by the conventional sintering method is heated to high temp. The material is then cooled and crushed, and the crushed material is sufficiently agitated and mixed until the RE2O3 phase or RE2BaCuO3 phase is finely and uniformly dispersed in a liq. phase. The mixed and crushed material is packed into a flexible tube 20 (e.g. rubber tube), and both ends are fixed to a disk 12 to exert a tension in the longitudinal direction. The material is then packed in the hydraulic cylinder 31 of a CIP device, and isobaric treatment is applied. The obtained superconducting raw rod 24 is brought out, a superconducting phase is grown by the unidirectional solidification method, etc., and the oxide superconductor is obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To generate a large magnetic levitation and to enable effective adoption of it for a non-contact large rotation mechanism without generating friction to rotation by constituting a magnet to a ring and arranging it concentrically, and by using it in opposition to a superconductor. CONSTITUTION:A magnet 1 which generates ring-like high surface magnetic field is arranged on a substrate 6 at specified intervals concentrically. After disc-like magnets 4, 7 are formed, high density energy irradiation such as laser is carried out at specified intervals and is thermally treated concentrically and demagnetized to increase practical aspect ratio. Or, a concentrical ring is provided whose N-pole and an S-pole are arranged alternately and concentrical recessed grooves 5, 8 of a specified interval are formed in disc-like magnets 4, 7. It becomes possible to manufacture a large rotation device of levitation noncontact by providing magnetic gradient to the magnet 1 by such a means.

摘要： PURPOSE:To form a polycrystalline body homogeneous in composition, high in density, minor in crack and much oriented by a method wherein a flexible pipe filled with an oxide superconducting raw powder is coiled while being exerted with a tensile force in the length direction and a cold isostatic press treatment is applied. CONSTITUTION:As an oxide superconducting raw-material powder, e.g. Bi2O3 (1mol), PbO (0.2mol), SrCO3 (1mol), CaCO3 (1mol) and CuO (2mol) are mixed and baked temporarily and pulverized. A rubber tube 23 is filled homogeneously with the powder; wires 21 for fixation use are attached to both ends of the rubber tube 23; both ends of the rubber tube 23 are fastened by using wires 22 for powder confinement use. The wires 21 for fixation use which are attached to the power-filled rubber tube 20 are passed through holes 11 for rubber-tube fixation use which are formed in a cylindrical metal fitting 12; both ends of the wires 21 for fixation use are connected firmly so as to exert a tensile force on the powder-filled rubber tube 20; the powder- filled rubber tube 20 is fixed to the cylindrical metal fitting 12. Then, a cylindrical metal fitting 10 in which a plurality of powder-filled rubber tubes are fixed to the cylindrical metal fitting 12 and on which the rubber tubes have been wound is put into a liquid-pressure cylinder (e.g. hydraulic cylinder) 31; a CIP treatment under a high pressure is executed.

CONSTITUTION:A mixture of source powders for RE-Ba-Cu-O oxide superconductor (RE is a rare earth element including Y) is heated in a high temp. region where the mixture partly changes into a liquid phase, and then cooled to obtain a solidified material. This solidified material is pulverized and mixed to uniformly disperse the structure. Then the mixture powder is compacted into a specified shape and then again heated in a high temp. region where the body partly changes into a liquid phase to grow the superconductor phase.

摘要： PURPOSE:To remove a non-superconductor phase contained in a silver-added oxide superconductor material to heighten the orientation of crystals, homogeneously disperse silver in the field of the crystal particles and improve the critical current density of the superconductor by pressing the material and discarding a liquid phase composition squeezed thereby. CONSTITUTION:The sintered pellet 5 of a silver-added oxide superconductor (e.g. Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox) is placed on an anvil 2 and heated into a semi-melted state. The sintered pellet 5 is preferably heated so as to give a liquid phase ratio of approximately 10-40% based on the whole amount of the pellet. Under said state a pressure control device 6 is actuated to move a piston 3 downward, thereby pressing the oxide superconductor pellet 5. A liquid phase composition 10 is squeezed from the pressed semi-melted pellet and flowed out into a receptacle 11. Thereby, a non-superconductor phase contained in the liquid phase is removed to heighten the ratio of the superconductor phase. The crystals can be further collected and organized by the pressure to heighten the orientation of the superconductor.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a raw material (rod) which has uniform size and is excellent in linearity by packing a superconductive powdery raw material into a pipe having flexibility and performing isotropic pressure treatment in such a state that tension is exerted in this pipe in the lengthwise direction. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive powdery raw material 24A is uniformly packed in a rubber pipe 23. Wires 21 for fixation are fitted to both ends of the rubber pipe 23. Both ends of the rubber pipe 23 are bound by wires 22 for confining the powder. Then the wires 21 for fixation are penetrated through the rubber pipe fixing holes 11 provided to the upper and lower fixing fitting disks 12 of a supporting rod 13. Both ends of the wires 21 for fixation are joined to the disks so that tension is exerted to the rubber pipe 20 packed with the superconductive powdery raw material. This rubber pipe 20 is fixed to the fixing fitting disks 12. Then the rubber pipe fixing fittings 10 wherein a plurality of rubber pipes 20 are fixed to the disks 12 are introduced into the liquid pressure cylinder 31 of a CIP device 30. CIP treatment for generating high pressure is performed. Thereby a superconductive raw material rod 24 can be obtained which has uniform size and is excellent in linearity.
