摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent elongation of a fine wire as much as possible and wind the fine wire easily under low tension without deteriorating the quality, by detecting the sagging of a coated element wire after emerging from a take-off device, and winding the coated element wire at another position under a winding tension. CONSTITUTION:A coated element wire (1a) prepared by extrusion coating a fine wire of small diameter, e.g. electric wire or optical fiber, with a required coating material is fed through a take-off device 3 from an inlet (19a) of a sagging detector 16 into a detection chamber 19 to form a sagging 24 between a sagging production guide sheave 22 and a tension setting guide sheave 23 by air suction on the side of an air duct 20. The resultant sagging 24 is detected by a photodetector 25, and the speed of a winding motor 26 on the side of a winder 10 is controlled by the detected value. The wire is then led from an outlet (19b) to the outside of the detector 16, and a winding tension in applied to the element wire (1a) at another position. The element wire (1a) is then wound through a guide roller 32 onto a winding bobbin 31.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which improves the cooling efficiency of a cooling tank behind an extruder and improves productivity by providing two sets of capstan pulleys which wind back and forth the strands plural times or above in the cooling tank and driving the pulleys with an electromagnetic clutch. CONSTITUTION:A device for producing an insulated strand is cascade-disposed with a let-off machine 1 for a core wire, a wire drawing machine 2, a softener 3 provided with the 1st and 2nd dancer rollers 24, 25, and the 1st capstan device 4, an extruder 5 for extrusion of a plastic provided with a cross head 6 for insulation covering, a cooling water tank 7, the 2nd capstan device 8, the 3rd dancer roller 26, a coiler 9, etc. The 3rd capstan device 28 consisting of two sets of capstan pulleys is disposed in said tank 7 of such device and the strand is wound back and forth plural times or above across the pulleys to improve cooling power. At least one of the above-mentioned capstan pulleys is driven to rotate at about 1.0-1.25 times the line speed of the strand via an electromagnetic clutch 35 by an independent power source 36, by which the increase in the tension on the inlet side of the device 8 is prevented and high productivity is maintained.
