    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion tube for treating molten steel and a piping connecting method therefor, in which the piping connection for supplying cooling fluid is automatically executed while reducing the cost of an equipment and improving the maintenance properties. SOLUTION: A piping inlet 4 for feeding the cooling fluid and a piping connecting device 5 fitted to this inlet are provided at the upper part side of the main body of the immersion tube for treating the molten steel. The piping connecting device 5 is composed of a sliding piping 6 composed of a fixing side pipe 8 fitted to the piping inlet 4 and a sliding side pipe 9 which holds air-toghtness to the pipe 8 and it fit so as to be extendable/contractable and slidable and is given elastic force in the extending direction, through a spring 12, and an expansion joint 7 air-tightly connected with the end part of the sliding side pipe 9 and having a flange 10 at the pipe tip part corresponding to a flange 11 which is fitted to the end part of the piping at the immersion pipe elevating device side, and arranged so as to be paralleled to the elevating axis of the elevating device 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealing between a sealing device body and a vacuum degassing vessel body while arranging shifting allowance between both bodies. SOLUTION: In the sealing device for lance inserting hole, flanges 10, 11 are arranged in the sealing device main body 2 and a notched part 13 having larger inner diameter than the outer diameter of the flange 11 of the sealing device body and the equal depth as the thickness of the flange 11 is arranged on a sealing cover 3 laid on an iron shell 5 of the lance inserting hole in the vacuum degassing vessel. The seal device body is laid to this notched part and the lower end of a bellows 4 arranged between the sealing device body and the sealing cover is fixed to the sealing cover 3 so as to push the flange 11 of the sealing device body to the notched part 13 with an annular fixed lower metal fixture 17. The upper end of the bellows is fixed to the flange 10 of the sealing device body with an annular fixed upper metal fixture 18, and the sealing cover laying the sealing device body is fixed to the iron shell 5 of the lance inserting hole in the vacuum degassing vessel.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a casting floor equipment for continuous casting, in which the thermal effect can be reduced by closing an opening part of a pit while carrying in/out the steel discharging pit even if a steel discharging pot for receiving and storing the discharged steel and slag from a tundish is of large capacity. CONSTITUTION:The opening part 21A is arranged at a cover body 21 for closing the steel discharging pit 22 formed on the casting floor 20 and the pot 24 for receiving and storing the residual steel and slag from the tundish 26 enabling carry-in/out of the steel discharging pit 22 through the opening part 21A and having a nozzle 25 is provided. A nozzle heating carriage 27 capable of freely reciprocating between a nozzle heating position just below the tundish 26 and a waiting position at out of the heating position is provided. A pit cover 32 cooperatively closing the opening part 21A by the nozzle heating carriage 27 is provided and retreated to widen the opening part 21A at the time of carrying in/out the pot 24. On the other hand, the pit cover is made to be freely shifted to advance in order to close the opening part 21A while cooperating with the carriage 27 at the time of shifting the nozzle heating carriage 27 to the nozzle heating position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten steel treatment line in which a traveling crane can be utilized without being disturbed by an incidental apparatus set at a high place in ladle-refining equipment.
      SOLUTION: The molten steel treatment line is composed of: a ladle-refining step 3 for receiving molten steel into a ladle 5 after a rough-refining step 1 and preforming various kinds of molten steel treatments in the ladle; and a continuous casting step 2 for continuously casting the molten steel after the ladle-refining step with a continuous casting apparatus. The ladle-refining step 3 is provided with ladle-refining equipment 13 which is composed of: supporting arms 7, 8 for supporting the ladle and independently turning on the same circumference; and ladle-refining apparatuses 10-12 disposed at the optional positions on the turning circumference, and in the ladle-refining equipment 13, the arms 7, 8 are each independently controlled in their movement and stoppage. In the above molten steel treatment line, the ladle-refining equipment 13 is disposed so as to cross the transport line of an indoor traveling crane 4 for transporting the ladle from the rough-refining step to the continuous casting step, and a stage 14 for receiving/delivering the ladle on the turning circumference, is disposed in the above transport line.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To charge a wire-like alloy and a powder-like alloy into a molten steel without being exposed to air or slag by disposing an alloy charging pipe in an oxygen flow passage of a lance and/or a cooling water passage. SOLUTION: A steel lance pipe 10 for charging is disposed in a middle cylinder 62 which is a cooling water passage, and a powder-like alloy or a wire-like alloy is passed through a lance pipe 11 for charging. Since the lance pipe 10 for charging is cooled with cooling water flowing in the middle cylinder 62, it can fully withstand even when it is exposed to the high temperature. Since no unevenness is present on an inner wall of the pipe, the wire-like alloy is not hooked when it is inserted therein, and can be smoothly charged into the molten steel (in the direction of an arrow C). Since the alloy charged from the lance pipe 10 for charging is carried together with oxygen ejected from an inner cylinder 61 (in the direction of an arrow A) to the molten steel, even the powder-like alloy can be forcibly charged into the molten steel against the upward air flow from the molten steel.
