    • PURPOSE:To improve the chamfer at the time of drilling of glass fiber reinforced material and to improve the working accuracy by making the included angle of a drill tip edge within the range of 98 - 112 deg. and making the included angle of a shoulder edge within the range of 50 - 60 deg.. CONSTITUTION:The included angle (alpha) of a tip edge 1 having a flank 3 is decided within the range of 98 - 112 deg., and the included angle beta of a shoulder edge 2 having a flank 4 is decided within the range of 50 - 60 deg.. Due to this included angle alpha being larger than that for aluminum material and smaller than that for steel material, the centripedal property enough for drilling of a glass fiber reinforced material, a proper cutting thrust and edge tip strength are obtained. Also due to the included angle beta being larger than that for aluminum material and smaller than that for steel material, a sufficient edge tip strength is obtained, the variation of the resistance in drawing out is reduced than for steel material as well, there is no generation of burrs and whiskers and the damage of the material to be cut is also eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To strengthen tip blades, and thereby contrive to reduce the occurrence of chipping by forming one flank extending continuously toward the back sides in both the inner and outer circumferential directions of respective tip ends, and thereby securing the wall thickness of back metals against respective tip blades. CONSTITUTION:A drill tip is equipped with both a pair of tip blades and a chisel blade 3 connecting each tip blade, and each tip blade is sectioned into a tip inner blade 1 positioned at the inner side in the radial direction and tip outer blade 2 positioned at the outer side in the radial direction. And a pair of the tip inner blades 1 and 1 forms a chamfer projecting out of the tip outer blades 2 and 2 toward the drill tip side. Namely, each tip inner blade 1 is formed in such a way as to be projected ahead toward the drill tip direction with respect to each tip outer blade 2 as it goes to the chisel blade 3. n addition, respective flanks 5a and 6a extending continuously are formed on the back face in the circumferential direction of each tip inner blade 1 and each outer blade 2.

    • PURPOSE:To improve cutting efficiency and cutting accuracy, by pressurizing a circular part in a radius of 40-73% the external radius in both side surfaces and generating internal stress of compression to be left in the pressurized part so as to prevent a chattering vibration during cutting. CONSTITUTION:A circular saw 1 has in its both side surfaces 1a two circular pressurized parts 1b, 1c of different diametric size. A radius of said two circular pressurized parts 1b, 1c, if assumed R for radius of the circular saw 1, is in a value of 0.73R-0.40R. In the case of the drawing, as an example, the radius is respectively in a value of 0.70XR, 0.60XR. The above pressurized parts 1b, 1c are easily constituted by roll pressurization as shown in the bottom drawing. That is, the circular saw 1, arranging in its both side surfaces 1a, 1a a pair of pressurizing rolls 2a, 2b to be mutually opposed and moving each pressurizing roll 2a, 2b in the direction of an arrow head in the drawing to pressurize the circular saw 1 while gradually rotating each pressurizing roll 2a, 2b, forms the circular pressurized parts. The circular saw enables internal stress of compression to be left in the pressurized part by applying said pressurizing process. This residual stress is generated to, for instance, 20-30kg/mm .
