    • PURPOSE: A new species bacteriophage, having DNA parts cleaved at specific sites, and capable of effectively and remarkably facilitating the insertion of the desired genetic information into the above-mentioned cleaved sites.
      CONSTITUTION: A new species bacteriophage obtained by hybridizing a λ type bacteriophage resistant to an edonuclease and/or a λ type bacteriophage having one or more sites cleaved by the endonuclease in a reconstitutive number in cleaving the bacteriophage DNA with the endonuclease, and rejoining the resultant DNA fragments with the DNA parts on the upstream side from the late promoter necessary for the transcription of the genetic information of the biosynthesis of a film protein to the sticky end thereof by a DNA ligase with a λ type bacteriophage having one or more sites cleaved by another endonuclease on the downstream side from the late promoter to the sticky end thereof.
