    • PURPOSE:To reduce building cost without elevating the floor level of a building by making a ceiling space communicate with a under-floor space by way of an air conditioner installed in an air-conditioning machine room, and installing an air blowoff port to a floor surface and an air suction port to a ceiling surface respectively. CONSTITUTION:An air-conditioner 4 installed in an air-conditioning machine room 'd', is a floor-installation type and blow down fan coil unit which produces cooling or heating air by way of a heat exchanger 41 based on cold water or hot water boosted from an underground heat source machine room, and supplies the conditioned air into an under-floor space 'c' by a fan 42. A ceiling space 'b' and the under-floor space 'c' communicate with each other by way of the air conditioner 4 in the air conditioning machine room 'd'. A connection port is formed in adequate locations of a floor member 2 so as to connect with an air blowoff port. A ventilation fan 5 is mounted with a space directly under the connection port. The air conditioned air is supplied to an air blowoff port 6 mounted and penetrated through a top board of a desk or side desk 'A' by way of a flexible duct 61 from the connection port so that the conditioned air may be discharged into a living space 'a'. A plurality of air suction ports 7 are installed to a ceiling member 1 in order to collect the air in the living space 'a' into a ceiling space 'b'.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a facility of processing a thermal load in a perimeter region and perform an economical air conditioning operation by a method wherein a cooled air supplied to an interior region is branched to and supplied to a location where a cooling load is generated in winter season in the perimeter area. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner 1 for supplying cold air in summer season and supplying hot air in winter season is installed at the foundation of a ceiling of a perimeter region. Conditioned air is blown from an air blowing port 2 to treat a thermal load at a wall, a window and other inner Circumferential part (a perimeter region). An air conditioner 4 for supplying cooled air throughout a year is installed in an interior air machine chamber and then cooling air is sent from the air blowing port 5 into interior region. Dampers 74 and 75 of a mixing box 7 connected to the ducts 3 and 6 are opened or closed by an actuator 76 operated by a temperature sensor 8 placed at a window to which a sun light is incident. Conditioned air at the perimeter side and the cooled air at the interior side are selectively sent to the air blowing port 2a. Accordingly, a fan coil unit or the like may not be required at the perimeter region, it is economical and so an effective floor area is not narrowed.

    • PURPOSE:To make flexible accommodation for various office building spacings, a compact size for a presumption of installing within an office room and an easy maintenance of air conditioner by a method wherein an amount of blowing air is controlled by a plurality of fans and each of them corresponds with each of a plurality of zones having different kinds of loads by a plurality of blowing units. CONSTITUTION:Air fed through a returning air port 15 and a surrounding air intake port 16 is passed through an air selection passage 10 also acting as a pipe shaft and passed through a prefilter 7 and a filter 6. When a humidifying operation is required, it is humidified by a humidifier 5. A plurality of blowers 4 are installed in such a way as their number can be controlled and an amount of blown air is controlled in accordance with load in a room under a control of the number of air conditioners. A heat exchanger (coil) is provided with a cold and hot water coil 2 and a cold water exclusive coil 3. The cold water exclusive coil 3 is used for an application normally requiring the cooling operation. Thus, the amount of air is controlled by this blower 4, passed through the coils 2 and 3, heat exchanged and blown into a room for every systems from the blowing unit 1. With this arrangement, it is possible to provide easy accommodation for a requirement of the various office buildings.

    • PURPOSE:To enable an air conditioner to provide a small local management type air conditioning system and to enable the air conditioner to perform an outdoor air cooling operation during the intermediate stage, by a method wherein a ventilating mechanism is incorporated in a fan coil unit to form an integral unit, which draws in the outside air. CONSTITUTION:When a first fan 4 is functioned as a fan for circulating indoor air, when CO2 concentration in indoor air is increased, fresh air can be introduced in a first fan 4. Surplus indoor air equivalent to an outside air intake amount is exhausted to the outside of a chamber with the aid of a second fan 12. During cooling, heat exchange is effected between the intake outside air and exhaust indoor air by means of a total heat exchanger 13, and energy saving operation can be effected. When the open air is cooled during the intermediate stage, the open air, having temperature lower than that of indoor air, is taken in as it is without heat exchange between the intake open air and exhaust indoor air. Various operation modes are switched through switching of routes 16 and 17 on the suction side to the first fan and switching of routes 20 and 21 on the delivery side from the fan.

    • PURPOSE:To enable simple and low-cost expansion of a high cleanliness space as occasion demands, by a method wherein a space above the high performance filter of a clean unit is connected to a space above the high performance filter of an additional unit through a connection port. CONSTITUTION:A space 47 above a high performance filter 38 of an additional unit 15 is communicated with a space 27 above a high performance filter 26 of a filter unit 12 through a connection port 24. Dampers 41, 41..., by means of which an airflow of air from a fan 28 is distributed to the clean unit 12 side and the additional unit 15 side, are removably mounted to a front wall 23. A production device 16 is contained in a high cleanliness space 18, and the opening of the damper 41 is regulated by means of a handle 42 so that a given airflow of air is fed to the clean unit 12 side and the additional unit 15 side. Thereafter, with a fan 28 started, clean air is sent to a position below the filters 26 and 38 toward the production device 16. This constitution enables simple expansion of a high cleanliness space.
