    • PURPOSE:To provide a temperature control method for a batch type annealing furnace when no feedback signal for valve opening degree is sent from a fuel control valve in a temperature control system. CONSTITUTION:Coil temperature is detected by a base temperature detector 4 in a state where a base 2 on which plural coils 1 are stacked is covered with a bell 3, and an in-bell atmospheric temperature is detected by a bell temperature detector 5. and respective temperature measuring signals are- inputted to a temperature controller 6. The temperature measuring signal is computed by comparing with a temperature prest value set in advance by the temperature controller 6, and the valve opening degree of the fuel control valve 8 is adjusted via an electric operating device 7 corresponding to the deviation of them simultaneously with the computation of the valve opening degree of an air control valve 9. At that time, it is possible to solve a trouble due to the momentary operation defect of the fuel control valve 8 by operating the valve in full-opening or closing direction compulsorily corresponding to the operating direction of the fuel control valve 8 by a valve compulsory opening/ closing controller 10 when temperature deviation exceeds a prescribed value.

    • PURPOSE:To easily execute annealing to a coil without developing defective material on the outermost periphery of the coil by changing over temp. control mode to bell temp. control mode after raising the temp. of a bell by a base temp. control mode until the bell temp. reaches a regulated temp. to execute the bell temp. control. CONSTITUTION:The band steel coil 3 is laid on the base 1 and an inner cover 4 is put on this and further, the bell 2 for heating is put. A base thermometer 5 in the base 1 and a bell thermometer 6 in the bell furnace wall 2 are arranged respectively. At the time of annealing the coil 3 in a bell furnace having the above constitution, the upper limit of the bell temp. is regulated so that the temp. of the outermost periphery of the coil 3 is not over-raised. At first, based on this regulation, the temp. is raised by the base temp. control mode. Successively, when the bell temp. reaches the regulated temp., the temp. control mode is changed over from the base temp. control mode to the bell temp. control mode. By this method, the temp. at the outermost periphery of the band steel coil 3 is restrained below a prescribed temp. an the annealing without developing the defective material can be executed.
