摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by producing a pseudo acoustic signal having a waveform similar to that of a sliding bearing under damage thereby enabling self-diagnosis of a diagnostic device in parallel with the diagnostic work of a sliding bearing for a rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:A receiving acoustic transducer 3 connected to an acoustic decision circuit 5 for disgnosing the abnormality of a sliding bearing 2 is fixed to said bearing 2. A transmitting acoustic transducer 4 for producing a pseudo acoustic signal is fixed in the vicinity of the receiving acoustic transducer 3. Said acoustic transducer is connected to a pulser 4 comprising a pulse generating circuit 9, a memory circuit 7 and a control circuit 8. Pattern to be produced corresponding to each damage of the sliding baring and sampling waveforms to be obtained from respective waveforms under damage of bearing are previously stored in the memory circuit 7 and subsequently read out through the control circuit 8 to be converted through the pulse generating circuit 9 into pulse voltages based on the signals read out from the control circuit 8 so as to excite the transmitting acoustic transducer 4.

摘要： PURPOSE:To avoid any abnormality and to perform the efficient operation by controlling at least one of an oil cooler, bearing distance, and dewatering wiper gap based on information of abnormality from an AE diagnosing device. CONSTITUTION:AE sensors 3A, 3B are fixed on sliding shafts 2A, 2B of a backup roll 1 of a rolling mill and their outputs are inputted to a signal discriminant circuit 5, which processes sensor outputs, generates caution or danger signals, and performs a prescribed control through a mill controller 10. In the case of a caution signal of damage to a radial face, lubricating oil is cooled by actuation of an oil cooler 14 and in the case of a caution signal of thrust contact, a bearing distance is adjusted through a hydraulic controller 15, and in the case of a caution signal of rubbing, a dewatering wiper gap is adjusted through a regulator 17. Thus, the mill is prevented from accidents without stopping operation and performs efficient operations.

摘要： PURPOSE:To locate the position of spalling generation on a rolling roll accurately, by comparing the arrival order of two elastic wave signals to an elastic wave transducer mounted at both axial ends of the roll. CONSTITUTION:An elastic wave transducer 5 is mounted at both ends of a bearing 4 of a backup roll 1 and elastic wave signals S1 and S2 generated are detected to obtain effective signal components S1a and S2a through an amplifier 6 and a filter 7. On the other hand, a revolutions detector 9 is mounted to a driving part of a work roll 2 to obtain a rotation signal C with a tachometer 10. Then, the X-axis position of the signals S1a and S2a and the Y-axis position distribution of the rotating direction are measured with a position locating circuit 8 and the results are transferred to a microcomputer 12 for data analysis. Then, when the results are larger than the location value predetermined in the location of the position of the circuit 8 in comparison, an alarm 11 is given to detect the generation of spalling on the rolls 1 and 2. Besides, the distribution of the generation position thereof is displayed in hystogram on a monitor TV 13 to locate the generation position accurately.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize the titled apparatus and to make it possible to diagnose the damage of a bearing with high reliability, by detecting an acoustic signal by successively changing over a bearing to be diagnosed by a scanning device every time when a rolling material is bitten in rolls. CONSTITUTION:Acoustic transducers 5 are attached to the sliding bearings 1 provided to both ends of the backup roll 2 of a rolling machine and the ultrasonic acoustic signal, generated when each bearing 1 received damage, is outputted while converted to an electric signal. At the time of the detection of said acoustic signal, the big sound generated by the biting of a rolling material is detected by a biting detector 15 and the acoustic signal is inputted to the multiplexer 8 of a scanning apparatus 7 by the metal-in signal of said detector 15. Subsequently, the multiplexer 8 is changed over and the acoustic signal is compared with a set value in a bearing damage detection circuit 12 to perform the judgement of damage. Therefore, one measuring system is employed on and after the scanning apparatus 7 and the apparatus is simplified and miniaturized and the damage of the bearing can be diagnosed with high reliability.

摘要： PURPOSE:To accurately discriminate the signal due to the damage of a slide bearing and noise, by discriminating the frequency characteristics of a detected acoustic signal on the basis of the rotary frequency of a slide shaft. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of back-up rolls 4, 5 provided above and below work rolls 2, 3 are pivotally supported by slide bearings 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b. Acoustic sensors 6a, 6b detect an acoustic signal and the detection signals are detected by envelope detection circuits 8a, 8b through amplifiers 7a, 8b and only signals having frequency components higher than the rotary frequency components of the rolls 4, 5 are outputted from high-pass filters 10a, 10b. The reference values predetermined by energy comparing circuits 11b, 11d are compared with the energy values of filter output signals and, when the levels of the reference values are higher than that of the energy values, a display device 15b or 15c is lighted to inform the generation of radial surface damage.

CONSTITUTION:A sound of a sliding bearing 4 for supporting a backup roll which has been placed at the outside of a work roll 2 contacting directly to a rolling material 1 is detected by a transducer 9. Subsequently, its signal is processed by a filter 11, a detecting circuit 12 and an average value circuit 13 and applied to a comparing circuit 14, compared with a set level Eth, and inputted to a sliding bearing damage diagnosing circuit 15. Next, a duration of a sound which has exceeded Eth is detected, compared with a set time Te by a duration deciding circuit 16, and when it has exceeded Te, it is decided to be a damage of the bearing, and an alarm, etc. are operated. Accordingly, a malfunction caused by a noise, etc. is eliminated, and a damage of a thrust surface of the bearing can be detected in its early stage and exactly.

摘要： PURPOSE:To early detect damage of every bearing by detecting a supersonic signal generated by damage of a bearing and discriminating same from noise according to a characteristic of the signal. CONSTITUTION:Back-up rolls 3a, 3b disposed outside work rolls 2a, 2b are supported by bearings 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, and an acoustic sensor 10 is provided on the bearing 4b. An acoustic signal received by the acoustic sensor 10 is input to a filter 12 through an amplifier 11. Subsequently, the signal processed by an envelope detection circuit 13 is input to a continuous signal discrimination circuit 14 and a sudden signal discrimination circuit 15. The signal processed by the respective discrimination circuits is input to a bearing abnormality discrimination circuit 16. The bearing abnormality is discriminated by the bearing abnormality discrimination circuit 16 and the result is displayed.

Therefore, unnecessary maintenance and the stopping of a production facility can be avoided.

CONSTITUTION:A vibratory acceleration sensor 1 detects the vibration of any one bearing in a low speed rotating machine touching the rotary section thereof. A detection signal V is amplified by an amplifier 2 and the natural band component accurately representative of abnormal state is extracted through a bandpass filter 3. The natural band component signal F is fed to a first peak factor circuit 4 to obtain a peak factor signal W1 which is then fed to a second peak factor circuit 5 to obtain a peak factor signal W2 of the peak factor. The peak factor signal W2 is fed to an operational processor 6 where it is compared with a threshold value TH. A decision is made that the low speed rotating machine is abnormal when the peak factor signal W2 exceeds the threshold value TH predetermined times or more.

摘要： PURPOSE:To determine irregularity of a bearing accurately by calculating a standard value responding to outputs from a load detector of a bearing and a revolution indicator by a calculating means and comparing it with an AE output from a bearing to detect the irregularity. CONSTITUTION:A load on a bearing is detected by a load detector 2, while a rotational speed by a revolution indicator. A standard value is calculated from the outputs and output by a computing unit 5, and the output is compared with an AE signal from a bearing 1 by a comparator 6. As a result, if the AE signal is higher than the standard, happening of peeling of the bearing 1 is presumed and an alarm signal is output. The most suitable standards of usage conditions of the bearing 1 are thus calculated and consequently irregularity determination of the bearing 1 is carried out accurately.
