    • PURPOSE:To increase the contact area of both internal and external tubes and to improve the heat conductivity of the heat transfer tube by constituting the heat transfer tube of an internal tube, an external tube, a brazing material layer between both internal and external tubes, successively subjecting the external tube to annular heating and cooling processing, from its one end to another end, contracting the diameter of the external tube, and press-fitting the external tube to the side of the internal tube. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral surface 3 of an internal tube 2 is covered with a wearproof external tube 4, and the external tube 4 is contracted in its diameter and press-fitted to the side of the internal tube 2. The contraction of the diameter of the external tube 4 is performed in such manner that, firstly, the internal tube 2 pasted with silver wax 11 is inserted into the external tube 4, on the other hand, a heat transfer tube 1 is inserted into an annular thermal diameter contracting device 12, and any of the device 12 and the heat transfer tube 1 is moved axially. When annular heating and cooling processing is successively carried out from one end side to another end side of the heat transfer tube by a heating part 13 and both cooling parts 14 and 15, the processed parts are contracted in the diameter. Further, silver wax is molted at the heating time, and is buried into a gap 7 formed by depressions and projections due to surface roughness of the outer peripheral surface of the internal tube 3 and the inner peripheral surface 5 of the external tube 5. Silver wax is cooled by a cooler 15 and is solid and a brazing material layer 6 is formed between both internal and external tubes. Accordingly, the contact area of both internal and external tubes is increased and the heat conductivity is improved.
