    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a diffuser capable of acquiring a required curvature shape at a front edge of a vane easily and with high accuracy by forming an arc-shaped rounded part in which the radiuses of curvature differ in various ways, at a corner part of a groove easily and with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a diffuser includes: a wall creation step of preparing a front wall member (9) and a rear wall member (10) facing in an axial direction of a diffuser (8) of a centrifugal compressor; a groove forming step of forming a plurality of grooves (13) extending from an inner periphery to the outer periphery in a radial direction arranged in parallel in the peripheral direction at a rear face of the front wall member and at a front face of the rear wall member; and a bonding step of forming a diffuser passage (20) between vanes by the groove by bonding the front wall member and the rear wall member by vanes (18,19) between the grooves. In the groove forming step, the front edges of the vanes (18,19) forming an acute angle are curved so that a central part in a span direction recesses toward the downstream by forming arc-shaped rounded parts (22,23) by a ball end mill (29) at the corner part of the groove.
