    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely shorten the time required for providing the analyzed result of a skin surface state by performing image analysis through a learning type image measuring system using a self-correlation mask pattern. SOLUTION: A base sheet 1, onto which horny cells are copied, is produced, its image is picked up by an image pickup means 2, the provided image is differentiated by an image differentiation filter 3 and the contrast of the image is improved. Next, the image is analyzed by executing the learning type image measuring system through an image analytic means 4 so that the overlap degree, flatness degree and area degree of cells can be discriminated and based on the overlap degree, flatness degree and area degree of cells, the growing degree of cells is discriminated by a surface state analytic means 5. On the other hand, a transmitted light quantity measuring means 6 measures the quantity of transmitted light in the case of irradiating the base sheet 1, onto which the horny cells are copied, with the prescribed quantity of light and based on this quantity of transmitted light, the surface state analytic means 5 discriminates the strength of release in the case of releasing the cells from the surface of the skin.
