摘要： PURPOSE:To contrive to enhance adapatability for high-speed recording and preservability of recorded images, by using a specified compound as a color reaction agent, in a thermal recording material utilizing a color reaction by the contact of a colorless or light-colored basic dye with a color reaction agent. CONSTITUTION:A compound of formula I or II, wherein each of R1-R4 is a hydrogen atom or a 1-8C alkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group, provided that R1 and R2 are not simultaneously hydrogen atoms and R3 and R4 are not simultaneously hydrogen atoms, is used as a color reaction agent together with the basic dye. The dye and the color reaction agent are dispersed either jointly or separately by an agitator or pulverizer using water as a dispersant to prepare a coating liquid, which is applied to a base to provide a recording layer. A thermal recording material thus obtained is adaptable for high-speed recording, and when the material is used, dicoloring tendency of recorded images is removed, and adhesion of scum to a recording needle is prevented from occuring.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve recording sensitivity without reducing whiteness by incorporating compound represented by a specific formula in a thermal recording layer. CONSTITUTION:At least one of compounds represented by a formula [I] is contained in a thermal recording layer of a thermal recording medium which utilizes coloring reaction of pale basic dye with colorant coloring in contact with the dye. In the formula [I], X is -O-, R1-R6 are hydrogen atom, 1-8C alkyl group, aryl group, aralkyl group. Substituent groups R1-R6 may be bonded to each other to form an aromatic ring. n is integer numbers of 1 to 10. Such thermal fusible substances include, for example, 1-phenoxy-2-naphthoxy(1)-ethane, 1-phenoxy-4-naphthoxy(2)-butane, etc. Since the substance is similar to the structure of basic dye or organic colorant, the solubility of the whole mixture is enhanced. Thus, its recording sensitivity can be improved without reducing whiteness.

CONSTITUTION:A coating solution which contains (A) colorless or pale basic dye (e.g., 3-dimethylamino-7-methoxyfluoran, (B) a colorant coloring in contact with the dye (A) (e.g., 4-tert-butylphenol), and (C) a thermal fusible substance represented by a formula I [where X represents O, COO, R1-R6 are H, 1-8C are alkyl;, aryl, aralkyl, and (n) is 1-10] is prepared. This solution is coated on a support, dired to an object thermal sensitive recording sheet. As a concrete example of the component (C), compounds of formula II and III are exemplified, the using amount is suitably 50-500pts.wt. to 100pts.wt.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material not generating the fog of a blank part and the deterioration of recording density even when exposed to temp. environment by using a specific basic dye and a specific coupler in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording medium utilizing the color forming reaction of a colorless-light-colored basic dye and a coupler capable of forming a color upon the contact with the dye, as the basic dye, 3-di(n-butyl)amino-6- methyl-7-phenylaminofluorane is used and, as the coupler, at least one of 4,4' isopropylidenephenol, 4-hydroxy-4'-isopropoxydiphenylsulfone and 2, 2-bis(4- hydroxyphenyl)-4-methylpentane is used. 150-250 pts.wt. of the coupler is used per 100 pts.wt. of the basic dye. When the coupler is less than 150 pts.wt., developed color density is markedly lowered and, when the coupler is more than 250 pts.wt., the fading preventing effect of a printed part under high temp. environment is lowered. This thermal recording medium is reduced in the fog of a blank part at high temp. even when a heat-meltable substance is together used as a sensitizer.
