摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid mixer which reliably mixes fluids in the state of low pressure loss and discharges the fluids as a uniformly mixed fluid even when the fluids are inhomogeneous in composition, temperature and/or concentration. SOLUTION: The homogeneity of an outlet fluid 6 of this fluid mixer 7 is achieved by disposing short pipes 5 respectively on fluid emitting parts 3a-3d which are disposed on a fluid dividing member 2. The fluids 1 which flow out of the short pipes 5 directly collide against or interfere with one another and generate a flow region of violent turbulence in the neighborhood. Therefore, even when the fluids 1 are inhomogeneous in composition, temperature and/or concentration, the fluids are almost uniformly mixed by being subjected to a passage through the flow region of violent turbulence generated by the fluid dividing member 2.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the introduction of unburnt carbon into a desulfurizing device together with an unreacted neutralizing agent collected through an electric dust collector, by a method wherein ash, collected by the electric dust collector and containing the neutralizing agent, is burnt to convert the neutralizing agent, whose unburnt carbon is burnt and removed, into slurry and, thereafter, the slurry is introduced into the desulfurizing device as a part of the desulfurizing agent. SOLUTION: When SO3 gas of a high concentration is contained in combustion waste gas discharged out of a boiler main body 1, a neutralizing agent is poured at the upstream side of an air pre-heater 3 and unreacted neutralizing agent is collected by an electric dust collector 4 together with the ash. The ash collected by the electric dust collector and containing the neutralizing agent is supplied into the bed material 9 of the combustor 6 to burn in the bed material 9 fluidized in the combustor 6 by receiving the supply of air and combustion assisting agent, to remove the unburnt carbon through combustion. Subsequently, the neutralizing agent, whose unburnt carbon is removed, is recovered by a cyclone 8 to send the same into a slurry producing device 7 to convert the same into slurry and, thereafter, the slurry is introduced into the desulfurizing device 5 as a part of the desulfurizing agent.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a chemical use quantity, to reduce a required iron elution quantity and to remove selenium as far as sufficient low concentration, in a treatment method of selenium-containing waste water by which the selenium- containing waste water is added acid and is passed through an iron metal filled layer, and then pH is made to alkaline and selenium is separated from the liquid as co-precipitate with iron hydroxide. SOLUTION: This treatment method of selenium-containing water consists of a first process by which the selenium-containing water is brought into contact with iron metal under an acidic condition and a second process by which outflow water from the first process is made to alkaline to make insoluble matter containing selenium and separate this from the liquid. In this method, the temperature of the first process is 40-90 deg.C.

SOLUTION: The exhaust gas mixer 10 for mixing the exhaust gas 100 flowing through a duct 1 is equipped with a center shaft 12, which is turned in the axial direction of the mixer along the flow direction of the exhaust gas 100, and a plurality of revolving blades radially provided to the center shaft 12. The exhaust gas 100 is formed into a spiral revolving stream having a clear vortex center to be uniformly mixed in the direction crossing the flow direction of the exhaust gas at a right angle by mixing diffusion utilizing the mixing diffusion effect and interference of the revolving stream, and the partial mixing and whole mixing of the exhaust gas 100 are performed at the same time.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower an operation temp. of an electric dust collector, to reduce an electrical resistance value of a neutralizing agent to prevent the generation of a reverse-ionization phenomenon and to reduce a dust collecting area of the electric dust collector by injecting a neutralizing agent for SO3 on the upstream side of an air preheater and disposing a heat recovering device on the upstream side of the electric dust collector. SOLUTION: Fuel is burned for a boiler main body 1 to generate steam. The nitrogen oxide in the combustion waste gas discharged from the boiler main body 1 is removed at a denitration device 2, and the gas is subjected to heat exchange with the air supplied to the boiler main body 1 by an air preheater 3 and the temp. is lowered by recovering heat by the heat recovering device 5, then ash is captured by the electric dust collector 4 and sulfur oxide is removed by a desulfurizing device 6 and the gas is reheated by a reheater 7 and discharged to the atmosphere from a stack. In such a case, the neutralizing agent for SO3 is injected on the upstream side of the air preheater 3 and the operation temp. of the electric precipitator 4 can be lowered to about 100 deg.C by disposing the heat recovering device 5 on the upstream side of the electric precipitator 4.
