摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a light weight sound-absorbing board having excellent bending strength by using slag wool obtained from sludge. CONSTITUTION:The raw material for the subject sound-absorbing board is composed of 20-100wt.% of slag wool having fiber diameter of >=7mum and obtained from sewage sludge and the remaining part of rock wool. The raw material is mixed with water and prescribed additives and stirred to obtain a slurry having a concentration of 0.4-0.8wt.%. The slurry is introduced into a paper machine to form a board having a prescribed thickness. The board is dried and the surface is perforated to form the objective sound-absorbing board.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover phosphorus by simple treatment such that a carbon source is mixed with incineration ash and the resulting mixture is charged in a hermetically closed heating furnace to be heated and the exhaust gas containing volatilized elemental phosphorus is brought into contact with water to condense elemental phosphorus to collect the same. SOLUTION: Incineration ash and a carbon source are introduced into a mixer 10 in a powder form to be mixed with each other and to be sent to a granulator 11, and a slight amt. of a granulating aid and water are added to the resulting mixture to form granules and these granules are dried to be charged in a hermetically closed heating furnace 12 to be heated to 1,000-1,250 deg.C. By this method, a phosphorus compd. in incineration ash is reduced to form elemental phosphorus, which is, in turn, volatilized as phosphorus vapor. The elemental phosphorus is held to a temp. of 300 deg.C or higher so that the phosphorus vapor is not coagulated to be sent to a condenser 22 and the condensed elemental phosphorus falls along with sprayed water to be drawn out to a yellow phosphorus storage tank 23 to be recovered.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the migration of harmful components in the exhaust gases of a carbonization furnace to a sludge by heating the exhaust gases and effectively utilizing these gases as a part of a dry heat source of the highly hydrous sludge. SOLUTION: The dehydrated cake of the sewerage sludge segmented by a constant quantity feeder 12 is dried by a drying machine 13 and is fed into the carbonization furnace 15 through a dry sludge hopper 14 and is carbonized. The carbonized cake is stored in a carbide hopper 16 and is subjected to activation treatment, by which active carbon is produced. The exhaust gases from the drying machine 13 subjected to dust removal by dust removing equipment 19 and the exhaust gases of 500 to 800 deg.C from the carbonization furnace 15 are introduced into a heat exchanger 21. As a result, the exhaust gases of the drying machine 13 are heated to 300 to 600 deg.C and a part thereof is circulated as an auxiliary heat source of the drying machine 13 to the drying machine 13. On the other hand, the remaining exhaust gases are introduced as the auxiliary heat source of the carbonization furnace 15 into the carbonization furnace 15 and are subjected to combustion deodorization in the carbonization furnace 15. The exhaust gases after the heat exchange by the heat exchanger 21 are sent to the exhaust gas treatment equipment 22 where the dust and harmful substances are removed. The exhaust gases are then released through a second induced draft fan 23 to the atmosphere from a chimney 24.
