    • PURPOSE:To obtain a uniformly cooled material mixture by spraying liquid nitrogen to a solid material during dry mixing from a spray nozzle to prepare a cooled solid mixture and adding compounding water to said mixture to perform kneading. CONSTITUTION:A lid 2 is mounted on a concrete mixer 1 and an exhaust duct 3 is mounted to the lid 2 and a spray nozzle 4 is arranged thereto. Liquid nitrogen is supplied to the spray nozzle 4 from a fixed pipe 5 to be emitted into the mixer 1 from nozzle orifices 7 through the passages 8 in a disc body 6. At this time, the liquid nitrogen is instantaneously expanded and gasified in the atmosphere to be injected from the nozzle orifices 7 at a high speed and the disc body 6 is rotated around the axis of the fixed pipe 5 to uniformly spray liquid nitrogen over the wide area of a solid material. Since the solid material is continuously fluidized by the rotation of mixer blades 10, local cooling is eliminated and uniform cooling is achieved over the whole of the material. Temp. is detected by a temp. sensor 11 and, when the inner wall temp. of the mixer 1 lowers to proper temp., dry mixing and the jet operation of liquid nitrogen are stopped and compounding water is added to the mixer 1 to perform kneading.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently cool raw material sand by making the revolving shaft of a spiral classifier hollow, introducing liquid nitrogen into the hollow part and discharging it through an aperture in case of introducing the raw material sand into a water tank and washing sand with water and classifying sand while utilizing the spiral classifier. CONSTITUTION:One end 7 of a spiral classifier 1 wherein a spiral blade 3 is fitted to a revolving shaft 2 made of a hollow cylinder is immersed under the water surface of a water tank 5 and the other end 8 is positioned to the part above the water surface. Raw material and 9 and water 10 are continuously introduced into the water tank 5 and sand 9 is scraped up by the rotated spiral blade 3 and classified and the classified sand is taken out from the other end 8. Simultaneously liquid nitrogen 15 is introduced into the hollow part of the revolving shaft 2 and discharged into water from an aperture 14 provided to the lower end of the revolving shaft 2, and both sand 9 and the classifier 1 are cooled by heat of gasification of liquid nitrogen and thereby low-temp. sand for a product is obtained. Milling temp. of concrete can be lowered by using this sand for the product.

    • PURPOSE: To perform the solidifying work of rubble under water or at the edge of water with high reliability by setting fresh concrete under a specific condition.
      CONSTITUTION: In a cylindrical container filled with 400cc of water, 5cm in diameter and 40cm in height, 400cc of a cement paste of a water/cement ratio of 60% is flowed down from the surface of water and allowed to stand for setting. Then, sampling is made from the uppermost 5cm part and the lowermost 5cm part of the hardened cement paste and the specific gravities are measured in accordance with a testing method, and then a tackifier, e.g., polyvinyl alcohol, by which the difference in specific gravities between both the samples is made 0.1 or less by binding the cement particles is added in 0.2W4.0wt% to cement to fresh concrete. And, the fresh concrete is flowed into rubble under water or at the edge of water.
