    • PURPOSE:To improve rising characteristics to vibration of a structure by giving, holding and releasing initial displacement to a weight of a dynamic vibration reducer. CONSTITUTION:A pendulum system dynamic vibration reducer is constituted of a wire 12 whose suspending length is adjusted so as to synchronize with a natural period of a structure by suspending a weight 11 having prescribed mass. The weight 11 of the dynamic vibration reducer is pulled further in the horizontal direction by a wire 13, and the wire 13 is fixed by a wire fixing device 14. A variable stroke type fixing device 41 having a wire winding - rewinding mechanism such as a motor and a pulley 43 is used as the wire fixing device 14, and prescribed initial displacement is given by the winding - rewinding mechanism, and fixation is released when it is controlled, and the wire 13 is loosened, and the weight 11 is vibrated in large amplitude, and rising characteristics of the dynamic vibration reducer are improved.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent surely the generation of large deformation in a fame, and to display the deformability of a damper section by bridging a spacing material in length equal to a distance between overhanging members between the front ends of the parallel overhanging members.
