    • PURPOSE:To prevent an acoustic impediment, by a method wherein some of the specified surfaces on three- or four-face cyclorama are composed of slant cycloramas allowed to slant toward a ceiling or composed of acoustic absorption cycloramas. CONSTITUTION:In the case of three-face cycloramas, two faces opoposed to each other are composed of slant cycloramas 3 and acoustically reflected waves are allowed to arrive at a ceiling thereby. The ceiling is composed of an acoustic absorption wall 4 and reflected sound of higher order is absorbed thereby. All of them are composed of the slant cycloramas 3 or either of the two faces opposed to each other is composed of the slant cyclorama 3, if necessary. In the case of four-face cycloramas, at least two face neighboring to each other are composed of the slant cycloramas. As substitute for these cases, in the other case of the three-face cycloramas, two face or at least one face of two faces opposed to each other is composed of an acoustic absorption cycloramas and in the other case of the four-face cycloramas, at least two faces neighboring to each other are composed of the acoustic absorption cycloramas. Combinations of the slant cycloramas with the acoustic absorption cycloramas also meet this requirement. In this way, a flutter echo and the excess of reverberations can be avoided, and an acoustic field at the side of fields can be suitably kept.

    • PURPOSE:To simulate and experience a sound field in a design stage by performing conversion corresponding to acoustic characteristics in plural directions of the periphery of a sound reception point and generating a simulated acoustic signal, and applying simulation acoustic signals to speakers provided corresponding to the plural directions. CONSTITUTION:A simulation converting means 17 converts the acoustic signal 32 from an acoustic signal source 16 according to the acoustic characteristics in the respective directions D1 - D3 to generate the simulation acoustic signals 34 corresponding to the directions D1 - D3. Further, the speakers 22 are provided in the sound field 10 corresponding to the directions D1 - D3 of the sound field 1. Then when the simulation acoustic signals 34 are applied to the speakers 22, the speakers 22 in the simulated sound field 10 receive sounds similar to the sounds in the directions D1 - D3 in the sound field 1 although an evaluating person 7 in the simulated sound field 10 is not in a sound field to be evaluated actually. Consequently, the sound environment at the sound reception point 5 in the sound field 1 can be simulated and experienced.
