In other words, the skeleton 9 is constructed in a space formed below the pipe roof 7. Timbering which supports the pipe roof 7 when the skeleton 9 is constructed is not embedded in the skeleton 9. As shown in Figure 7, it is possible for the pipe roof 7 to hold earth pressure above because the pipe roof 7 is completely integrated above. As a result, no timbering needs to be disposed below the pipe roof 7, and the skeleton and the timbering do not interfere with each other at the time of installation of the skeleton. Steel tubes are integrated with one another by compression force transmission members installed between the steel tubes, so that coupling joints are not needed.
