SOLUTION: In the flux cored wire in which a flux powder is filled inside a tubular metallic jacket made of stainless steel, the flux cored wire to use is designed to contain 6.5-25 mass % flux powder in the wire weight, wherein the quantity of metallic powder in the flux powder is 0.3-10 mass % in the wire weight, and wherein 3.5-15 mass % metal other than the powder in the wire weight is contained together with the flux powder inside the metallic jacket.

The mixed amount of Si and Al is controlled to 2 to 15 wt.% to the whole wire for thermal spraying. The amount of the metal powder to the whole wire for thermal spraying is controlled to 4 to 45 wt.%.
