    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-dip galvannealed steel sheet with a chromate-free coating, which shows superior electromagnetic-wave shielding properties without degrading corrosion resistance, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.
      SOLUTION: The chromate-free film is made from an insulator having an average thickness of 0.10 μm or more and a volume resistivity of more than 10
      10 Ω cm. The chromate-free film has a defective part which satisfies the following conditions: the area Sd of one defective spot is 1 to 2,000 μm
      2 , the average area Sm of the defective parts is 1 to 2,000 μm
      2 , and the area rate Pd of the defective parts on the surface of the film is 0.010 to 25%. When the hot-dip galvannealed steel sheet is manufactured, a chromate-free treatment liquid is applied by using a roll coater. The chromate-free treatment liquid contains a non-volatile component of 1 mass% or more but less than 5 mass%, and has a viscosity of 2.0 mPa s or less at a temperature when the liquid is applied. A peripheral speed of an applicator roll is set at 1.2 times or more with respect to a speed of the line, and a peripheral speed ratio of a pick up roll is set at 0.1 to 0.5 with respect to the peripheral speed of the applicator roll.
