    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MnZnCrCo ferrite having ≥10 4 Ωm specific resistance, high initial magnetic permeability μ i and saturation magnetic flux density B s and flat frequency characteristic μ i from 10 kHz to 1 MHz. SOLUTION: The high resistance high saturation magnetic flux density MnZnCrCo ferrite has a base component composition of 46.0-49.8 mol% Fe 2 O 3 , 2.0-18.0 mol% ZnO, 0.1-1.5 mol% Cr 2 O 3 , 0.1-3.0 mol% CoO and the balance MnO expressed in terms of oxide and as accessory constituents, contains SiO 2 and CaO in the ratio (SiO 2 :CaO) by mol% of 0-40 (excluding 0):100-60 (excluding 100) and 100-2,500 mass.ppm in total of SiO 2 and CaO, wherein the saturation magnetic flux density B s in 1.2 kA/m applied magnetic field at room temperature and the initial magnetic permeability μ i in 100 kHz frequency satisfy a predetermined relationship with respect to the content (mol%) of ZnO and the specific resistance is ≥10 4 Ωm.
