摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a light irradiation device high in efficiency, by covering a surface to be irradiated of an object to be irradiated by a reflective plate so that light irradiating off the object and light reflected by the object are reflected by the reflective plate. CONSTITUTION:Ultraviolet lamps 7 are provided at a regular interval around the object 5 to be irradiated, while the reflective plates 6 are curved in a parabolic form with the lamps 7 as centers so that the light from the lamps 7 reaches the object 5 most efficiently, and the reflective plates 6 are connected to each other into a cylindrical configuration. A porition of the ultraviolet rays from the lamps 7 irradiates directly to the surface of the object 5 as direct light (a), while ultraviolet rays (b) irradiating off the object 5 are reflected by the opposite reflective plates 6 to reach the object 5. Accordingly, since the quantity of the rays irradiating to the object 5 can be increased, electrical energy can be saved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To carry out effectively an deodorizing treatment, etc. by arranging plural irradiation appliances around a carrier passage of a material to be irradiated, and moving the irradiation appliances radially to the central direction. CONSTITUTION:A light fittment 4 provided with an ultraviolet lamp 2 and a reflector plate 3 is installed concentrically around an opening 11 of the opposed surfaces of elevating plates 10a and 10b through an air cylinder 7. When a large bore metallic tube is treated, the number and position of the light fittment 4 are selected so that the optimum ultraviolet irradiation can be obtained on the surface of the metallic tube 5a, and the light fittment are fixed at a specified position by operating the air cylinder 7. When a small bore metallic tube 5b is passed, the elevating plates 10a and 10b are lowered, and the light fittment 4 is further made approach to the metallic tube 5b by operating the air cylinder 7 to irradiate effectively the surface of the metallic tube 5b.
