摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a urine sampling device which surely sample urine while using an easily storable urine sampling means in sampling of urine by using a standard type toilet bowl. CONSTITUTION:A urine sampling device 28 is provided with a thin, long, and curved urine collecting conduit 38, which is rotated setting the horizontal axial line as the center by means of an electric motor 43 arranged in the front part of toilet seat 18. The urine collecting conduit 38 is slantingly curved between the approximately front upper part area and the bottom part central area in a toilet bowl 14 space. The urine sample collected by the urine collecting conduit 38 is stored in a small urine sump 40 arranged in the lower end of the urine collecting conduit 38. In sampling of urine, the urine collecting conduit 38 is rotated into an approximately perpendicular posture, while the urine collecting conduit 38 is rotated into an approximately horizontal posture so as to be stored below the toilet seat 18 when it is not used.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable sterilizing concentration to be maintained continuously and perform sterilization of water safely and effectively without charging control by circulating and passing water through the anion exchange resins adsorbed with iodine. CONSTITUTION:The solution composed of potassium iodide, iodine and water is slowly flowed in the column packed with strong basic anion exchange resins and this is repeated until the liquid being passed becomes colorless. Then, molecular iodine and iodine ions are exchanged and adsorbed in the anion exchange resins. When these resins are used for a column 3 and water of a vessel 4 is circulated therein, sterilization is effecred by the sterilization effect through direct contact with the adsorbed iodine and liberation and elution of molecular iodines 0.1ppm or more in the water being passed. The molecular iodine becomes iodine ion when reduced, but when oxdized, they again become molecular iodine. Hence, sterilization effect may be continuously maintained and this is the easy and safe sterilization method.

The supporting body (18) is provided with a supporting section (20) which is extended to cross over the side section of the rim 16 and a urine collecting container housing section (22) which is positioned closely to the inside of the front section of the rim (16) and the rotating shaft (32) of the arm (30) is extended in the supporting section (20). Since the container (28) is housed in the housing section on the inside of the front section of the rim (16) when this urine collector is not used, the container (28) does not obstruct the daily use of the toilet bowl.

In the urine sampling container 96, a urine detecting sensor consisting of a pair of electrodes 126, 128 separated from each other in the vertical direction are arranged so as to detect accumulation of urine. A controller monitors conductivity of fluid between the electrodes for detecting the accumulation of urine, and when the predetermined amount of urine is accumulated, a motor pump is automatically driven, and a urine sample is sucked. As the urine collecting conduit 110 is thin and long, urine can be effectively collected, while the urine sampling container 96 can be easily stored in the limited space below a toilet seat when it is not used.
