The composition is applied to the surface layer 1 of a substrate cleaned with a cleaner through a primer layer, and the wet film is dried or cured to obtain an article coated with a coating film in which the material 2, the binder 3, and the colorant 4 are dispersed. The drying or the curing can be practiced by standing at room temperature, forced drying, heating, ultraviolet irradiation, or the like.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen adhesion of water and to let the surface have low water adhesion and reduce dirt of the surface by providing stripe-like very fine projecting and recessed parts in an arbitrary direction on the surface of a member and arranging the projecting and recessed parts to alternate with a hydrophilic surface and a water repellent surface. SOLUTION: A smooth tile for interior and a metal plate are stacked in such a manner that the tile is on the lower side and the metal plate is on the upper side, and alumina abrasives 0.5 micron is put between them. The tile is fixed, while applying a load to the metal plate, it is slowly moved in the direction of the side to form a very fine stripe-like projecting and recessed surface on the tile. Thus, water adhering to the member is easy to flow down along the stripe so as to reduce evaporation residue in water, and as water is little, breeding of bacteria can be restrained. The stripe-like fine projecting and recessed parts are arranged to alternate with a hydrophilic surface 2 and a water repellent surface 1. Thus, water adhering to the water repellent surface 1 is repelled to be captured by the hydrophilic surface 2, and the collected water becomes a drop to drop along the stripe, so that adhesion of water causing dirt can be reduced.
