    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slurry bed reaction system for bubbling-tower-type Fisher-Tropsh (FT) synthesis, which has a simple operation system for separating and guiding a catalyst and a liquid hydrocarbon product from the slurry in a gas-liquid-solid three phase and can suppress deterioration due to powdering of a catalyst particle, and the like. SOLUTION: The FT synthesis reaction system comprises a slurry bed reaction process for bubbling-tower-type FT synthesis, wherein a synthesis gas that is continuously supplied from the bottom part of a reactor 11 is caused to come into contact with a suspended catalyst particle to generate a liquid hydrocarbon, a gaseous hydrocarbon, and water, a process for separating the catalyst particle from the generated liquid product using a separation container 12, a process for transferring the generated gaseous product to the separation container and guiding the product to go out from the top, a process for guiding the generated liquid product to go out from the middle part of the separation container, and a process for guiding a slurry resulting from condensation of the catalyst particle from the bottom part of the separation container so as to cause the slurry to circulate toward the bottom part of the reactor. These processes are run by a driving force of the synthesis gas that is introduced from the reactor bottom part and ascends within the reactor containing the slurry bed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
