摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submarine feed-branching device that enables submarine cables including a feeder that supplies power to a submarine repeater, to be laid in a meshshape. SOLUTION: A constant current-to-constant current converter 17 isolates a main submarine cable 2 from an auxiliary submarine cable 3, generates a second constant current using a first constant current that is inputted into an input terminal 101, and outputs it to the second output terminal 103. The second constant current value is made changeable, by controlling the duty ratio of switches S1 and S2. These switches are controlled by a switch-control circuit 14 that receives a control signal from a land station via a transmitting equipment 16. The submarine feeding distributor 10 converts the constant voltage feeding into negative constant current feeding and positive constant current feeding and applies constant current feeding to a submarine repeater 20 through a constant current feeder 3 or 3a or 3b. Further, the constant voltage feeding is applied to a submarine feeding distributor 10 or 10a connected to a next stage through the constant voltage feeder 2 or 2a. the submarine feeding distributor 10a converts the constant voltage feeding into negative constant current feeding and positive constant current feeding and applies constant current feeding to a submarine repeater 20 through a constant current feeder 3 or 3a or 3b. Moreover, the constant voltage feeding is applied to a submarine feeding distributor 10 or 10a of a plurality of stages through the constant voltage feeder 2 or 2a. 摘要： PURPOSE:To attain a device which is small-sized and easy to handle and has highly reliable watertightness by matching the terminal of an optical fiber strand, which is fixed to a relaying member in the center part of an adapter, and the terminal of a strand, which is fixed to the terminal member of a plug, to each other. CONSTITUTION:Optical fiber strands 12a and 12b and relaying members 10a and 10b are allowed to adhere to each other water-tightly, and they are fixed to an adapter 4 through O rings 6b and 6c, and thus, the watertightness is kept between a plug 30a and the adapter 4. Tips of strands 12e and 12f are inserted to through holes so that they coincide with the matching face between terminal members 20c and 20d and relaying members 10a and 10b, and they are fixed with an adhesive. When terminal members 20c and 20d are fitted to through holes 14a and 14b of the adapter 4, strands 12a and 12e and strands 12b and 12f can be connected to each other by the pressure of springs 26c and 26d. Consequently, the device is small-sized and easy to handle, and the reliability of the water-tight property is improved.
