When the slider is made to slide along the guide part in a direction approaching the first storage part, the ribbon-shaped optical medium is pressed against a plane in the first direction by the first press part, and the connection object is positioned by a first positioning part.

The shutter 10 includes: a main body part 11 which covers the outer circumference of the housing and has a substantially quadrangular cross-section shape; and a shielding part 1 which shields light and is elastically deformed. The shielding part 1 is arranged on the notch 25 side and a key groove is formed on the main body part 11 of the side opposite to the shielding part 1, for discriminating notch 16 for discriminating erroneous insertion of the optical connector plug 50.

      SOLUTION: The optical connector 1 is composed of an external member 2 and an internal member 3 that can be inserted into and pulled out from the external member. The external member is provided with an aperture 2a into which the internal member is inserted, a pair of elastically deformable cantilevers 2b which are installed inside the aperture, and a pair of notches 2c which are provided from both sides of the aperture. Each cantilever is formed with a groove 2b1. The internal member is provided with a pair of catches 3a on both sides of the part to be inserted into the aperture. When the internal member is inserted into the external member, each catch is locked in the groove of the respective cantilever, so that the internal member is fixed to the external member. With the housing part of the disassembling tool fitted to the internal member to elastically deform each cantilever outward, each groove is receded from the catch. When the disassembling tool is rotated at a slight angle, the internal member is also rotated, with each notch opened. Accordingly, by pulling the disassembling tool, the internal member is drawn out from the external member.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disassembly optical connector and a disassembling jig therefor having a simple structure.
      SOLUTION: An optical connector 1 comprises an outer sheath member 2, an internal member 3 which holds an optical fiber 10 and is stored in the outer sheath member, a coil spring 5 which always pressing the internal member in a direction of engaging with an optical connector of the other party, and a stopper 4 compressing the coil spring. The outer sheath member has an engagement part (window) 2b and an insertion part (slit) 2a to which a taper part 14a of a release part 14 of a disassembling jig 11 is inserted. The stopper has a lock part 4a capable of locking/unlocking the engagement part. When the taper part of the disassembling jig is inserted to the insertion part of the outer sheath member, the insertion part is opened. Then an upper surface of the outer sheath member is elastically deformed upward and a lower surface of this member is elastically deformed downward, so that the engagement part is unlocked. Consequently, the stopper is released from the outer sheath member by a reaction force of the coil spring and enters the disassembling jig. Next, when the optical fiber, the disassembling jig, and the stopper are pulled with fingers, the internal member is pulled out of the outer sheath member.
