摘要： PURPOSE:To detect accurately a fine-striped pattern or a pattern of aggregation of discontinuous dots and to enable easy execution of pattern matching by using a pair of heads each of which condenses a reflected light from fabric by a lens and senses a light flux passing through a slit by a photodetector. CONSTITUTION:A pair of detection heads 30A and 30B have the same structure and are formed of lenses 32, slit plates 33 and photodetectors 34 respectively. Reference points A and B of fabric of which a pattern is to be detected are illuminated by the use of a light source device 50, reflected lights therefrom are condensed by the lenses 32 and light fluxes passing through the slit plates 33 are sensed by the photodetectors 34, respectively. The sensed lights are subjected to photoelectric conversion and detection signals Sa and Sb are inputted to CPU 62. A prescribed arithmetic processing being executed in the CPU 62, a signal is sent to a position-aligning device 20 so that the same pattern can be detected from signals of the heads 30A and 30B, and a position-correcting table 26 is driven. Therefore, pattern matching can be performed even for the fabric of fine pattern.
