SOLUTION: In the broadcast system that broadcasts a stream including a time stamp, a time management section 1 of a reception terminal equipment monitors the time stamp of the stream that is broadcast. The section 1 receives the time stamp at an access point of time when accessing information broadcast in the past and stored in a storage device 3, a time stamp processing section 2 writes the time stamp to the information as control information and uses the time stamp for managing the information. Different from a conventional system that conducts information management based on its own timer information in the terminal equipment, information is accurately managed and an injustice of pretense of time is prevented.

SOLUTION: The receiver for the storage broadcast system is provided with a contents value evaluation means 17 that calculates an evaluation value of contents stored in a storage means 13, a discard candidate selection means 16 that generates/updates a list on which an evaluation value and a data size are described in cross-reference with the contents stored in the storage means, and a contents discard means 15 that deletes old contents shown by the list in order to ensure the storage capacity of the storage means required to store new contents when receiving new contents. When the idle capacity of the storage means is required, the contents can immediately be discarded on the basis of the list and the required capacity can be ensured in a short time. Moreover, any useless redundant capacity is not required for the storage means because this system deletes old contents as required for deletion when new contents arrive.

Also, it is possible to prevent the delay of the presentation of the contents because the priority of processing for confirming the validity period of the contents to be presented is made higher.

As the time of changing the tree structure of the contents stored in the storing means while being linked with each other, a difference tree including only the contents to be changed is generated, and an operation binary tree representing an operation series is generated from the difference tree, and the operation nodes of the operation binary tree are searched by the search algorithm of the operation binary tree, and the order of the transmission of the contents or the operation information of the contents is set in the order prescribed by the retrieved operation nodes. Thus, it is possible to obtain the same effect as that at the time of simultaneously changing the contents of the tree structure by operating the transmission control.
