    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate and reuse used paper such as newspapers or magazines by melting and kneading a mixture of pulverized used paper obtained by grinding the used paper in the form of powder and a resin raw material, and extruding the mixture and further pelletizing it by an extruder. SOLUTION: Either of newspapers or magazines, or handbills or all kinds of used paper are fed into a hopper 6 provided in the cylinder 3 of an extruder 10, together with pulverized paper 21 obtained by grinding it previously using a grinder and a resin raw material 22. In addition, these materials are heated, melted and kneaded by a pair of screws 5 and a resin heater 9 in the cylinder 3 and at the same time, are sequentially transferred to a molding die 7 from the hopper 6 side. Further the mixture is extruded to the outside from the outlet of the molding die 7. In this case, the mixture is extruded in the form of a strand from the outlet which is of a holelike shape, and the extruded mixture is cut using the cutter of a granulator 25 to be set in the water. After that, the set granules are sent to another place to be dried and pelletized 26. Thus regenerate and reuse of used paper such as newspapers, magazines or handbills are made possible.

    • PURPOSE:To make the contact state of cutter knives and a die surface optimum and granulate at high efficiency by automatically controlling thrust to forward thrust generated at the time of rotating the cutter knives by means of a pressure medium. CONSTITUTION:When a cutter driving shaft 12 is rotated by a driving means, cutter knives 11 are rotated at high speed, and molten plastic discharged out of a nozzle 6 is cut finely by respective cutter knives 11. When the cutter knives 11 are rotated under water, thrust force is generated and a cutter driving shaft 12 is moved in the advancing direction. As the wear of cutter knives 11 and defective cutting of polymer are generated when said advancement is generated, the number of rotations of said cutter driving shaft 12 is sensed, and based on a signal of said number of rotations, a first pressure regulating valve 68 is adjusted to control a pressure medium in a first space chamber 56, and also the advancement of cutter driving shaft 12 is automatically controlled to the stroke S of the first space chamber 56 to control and maintain the contact state of the cutter knives 11 and a die surface 3a as optimum.

    • PURPOSE:To perform widely and easily control of a degree of kneading, by method wherein the title machine is constituted of a pair of screw shafts, the first and second screw parts whose outside diameters of screw shafts each are different from each other, and a tapered part of an inner wall formed on an inner wall of a cylinder, and provided with a columnar part formed by adjoining to the tapered part, and a cylindrical part of the inner wall formed by adjoining to the tapered part of the inner wall. CONSTITUTION:Tapered parts 7c, 8c and columnar parts 7e, 8e constituting different diametral parts at positions where the outside diameters are changed are formed by adjoining to one another and continuously, in a space between screw parts 5, 6 each in screw shafts 7, 8 each. A gap t1 is formed among the tapered parts 7c, 8c each and a tapered part 1e of an inner wall, a gap t2 is formed among the columar parts 7e, 8e each and cylindrical parts 1ba, 1ca each of the inner wall and effective lengths D overlapping one another are formed. In case of control of a degree of kneading of resin raw materials in kneading parts 7b, 8b, the control can be performed arbitrarily by changing size of the gap t1 and effective length D by moving a cylinder 1 in an axial direction by a hydraulic cylinder 3 and the control of the degree of kneading can be performed by that whose accuracy is comparatively low.
