    • PURPOSE:To enable the removal of clutters automatically and properly from a signal received, by adjusting the amplification gain of the received signal according to the generation state of clutters to determine an STC waveform adapted to the state. CONSTITUTION:A memory 11 memorizes a received signal outputted from an amplifier 10 by one scan of an antenna 31 and based on the signal memorized, a decision section 12 detects the clutter distribution to determine a proper STC waveform according to the clutter distribution. Based on the STC waveform, an optimizing section 13 determines the attenuation level for the sensitivity suppression and based thereon, a gain adjusting signal is applied to an amplifier 10 to determine the gain. As a result, the reception signal suppressed in the clutter is outputted from the amplifier 10.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an integral type propeller having a large diameter, by a method wherein a vane on the boss side and a vane on the tip side are individually manufactured, and the vane on the tip side is jointed with the vane on the boss side. CONSTITUTION:A vane 2 is radially divided into two sections, a vane 2B on the boss side and a vane 2A on the tip side are individually manufactured, and the vane 2A on the tip side is joined with the vane 2B on the boss side by welding to form an integral type propeller. Division may be effected such that the two vanes 2 are divided partially or throughout the whole of the vane. The vane 2B on the boss side is set to a size being large enough to allow manufacture of it by means of an existing equipment, the vane 2B on the boss side and the vane 2A on the tip side are individually cast and machined. In a newly mounted or expanded welding and inspecting equipment, the vane 2A on the tip side is welded to and joined with the vane 2B on the boss side by means of multilayer and plurality of passes. This constitution and method enable provision of an integral type propeller having a large diameter and high propeller efficiency at a low cost.
