摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the rise of inner pressure within an inner container and reduce loss of coolant by a method wherein evaporated gas is discharged to the outside of an outer container at all times even if acceleration or deceleration is applied in any direction. CONSTITUTION:A first pipe 7a has an opening 11a located at one side of the upper part within an inner container 1, and a second pipe 7b has an opening 11b located at the other side of the upper part of the inner container 1. The first pipe 7a is communicated with a connecting pipe 7c via a bent part 12b locating in the upper part within the inner container 1 at the side of the opening 11b of the second pipe 7b, while the second pipe 7b is communicated with the connecting pipe 7c via a bent part 12a locating in the upper part within the inner container 1 at the side of the opening 11a of the first pipe 7a. The connecting pipe 7c is communicated with a pipe 7 for discharging gas via a connecting part 13 locating in gas phase.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the invasion of heat due to conduction of a current conductor at the ambient temperature side and a superconductive of low temperature side during energization and non-energization by connecting the conductors with a connecting conductor having coolant passages having heat transfer accelerating member. CONSTITUTION:Cryogenic coolant is stored in an interior container 24, and a vacuum is formed in the space between the container 24 and an exterior container 25. A superconductive device is contained in the coolant, and the device and an external power source are connected via a current conductor. This currnet conductor is composed of the conductor 27 of ambient temperature side and a conductor 28b having small thermal conductivity integral with a superconductor 28a, and the conductors 27, 28 are connected via a connecting conductor 27 formed to having a coolant passage with heat transfer accelerating material. Further, the coolant is fed from an inlet tube 37, and is exhausted from an exhaust tube 38.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce heat loss due to natural convection by restricting the natural convection within pipings. CONSTITUTION:An outer container 2 encloses an inner container 1 in a heat insulating state, and heat insulating space 5 therebetween comprises a shield 3 for shielding heat radiation, a high vacuum layer and laminated heat insulating materials. A superconductive device 10 is installed in liquid helium 6 within the inner container 1. Gaseous helium 7 locates above the liquid helium 6, and an emergent discharging pipe 8 with a relief valve 9 is provided in the gaseous helium 7. The emergent discharging pipe 8 includes therein a partition wall for restricting natural convection.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce a heat loss due to natual convection and prevent an accident due to breakage of the adiabatic state by providing such a partition member in a horizontal pipe as lowering a degree of natural convection of a gas within the horizontal pipe and being opened when gas pressure within an inner container exceeds a predetermine level. CONSTITUTION:The partition members 11 are provided at a plurality of locations in the horizontal pipe 8 in the longitudinal direction, respectively. Each partition member 11 produces no fluid resistance when evaporated gas from a coolant in an inner container 1 is required to be discharged in a large amount, and allows the gas to flow along the direction as shown by an arrow 12 in the normal state. Accordingly, a heat loss due to natural convection is reduced and the gas within the inner container 1 is fastly discharged out to an outer container 2 in an emergent state.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature rise of a superconductive coil in which a cooling passage is formed at a spool by molding the coil with synthetic resin by enclosing the outer periphery of the cooling passage with a thermal conductor. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive coil 1 is integrally impregnated with synthetic resin such as epoxy resin or the like and is fixed together with a spool 2 surrounding the outer periphery of the coil 1, and a cooling passage 3 is formed at the spool 2. This spool 2 and the passage 3 are formed of high strength member such as stainless steel or the like. A thermal conductor 6 such as an aluminum plate or a copper plate or the like is intimately secured by a welding or a bolt clamping to the outer periphery of the spool 2 and the passage 3. The heat generated from the coil 1 is transmitted to a freezing medium flowing through the passage 3 provided at the spool 2 to cool the coil 1. The heat and electromagnetic wave introduced from the exterior to the coil 1 are absorbed by the thermal conductor 6 and are transmitted to the freezing medium flowing through the passage 3 in the form of the heat to perform cooling.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the sufficient strength of a heat insulating support by alternately connecting a plurality of cylindrical bodies coaxially arranged at the ends and the intermediate parts and interposing heat shielding members between the outermost cylindrical body and the innermost cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of heat insulating cylindrical bodies such as, for example, fiber-reinforced resin thin film cylinders 7a-7d are disposed via minute gaps (approx. 2-5mm.) between a cryogenic part 1 and an environmental temperature part 2. These part 1, the respective cylinders and the part 2 are connected via spacers 8 of the similar material to the cylinders at the ends and the intermediate parts of the cylinders with an adhesive or screws. The ends and the intermediate parts are alternately disposed at the connecting parts. Metallic heat shielding plates 9a, 9b made, for example, of copper or aluminum or the like are provided between the cylinders 7b and 7c, and bonded slidably with each other at one end side and are secured to the connecting part of the cylinders 7b and 7c at the other end side.

摘要： PURPOSE:To secure proper regenerative operation and reduce the arrangement space of a shutter mechanism by installing a shutter which is shiftble between a gas inlet surface and the inner-most wall surface, in a cryopump equipped with a cryopanel and a radiation heat shielding body. CONSTITUTION:A cryopump is arranged in a vacuum container, and a front surface frame 38 forms an inlet surface 37 for exhaust gas. A cryopanel 22 which condenses exhaust gas and traps it is cooled by the liquid helium which naturally circulates inside. Further, a louver 29, front surface heat sealing plates 30 and 31, back surface heat shield plate 31, and a side surface heat shielding plate 34 are cooled by the liquid nitrogen which naturally circulates in a pipe 7. In this case, the back surface heat shielding plate 33 and the back surface wall of the vacuum container are connected by a cylindrical pipe 39 having a small heat conductivity, and the held heat shielding pipe 41 of a shutter 40 is shifted in the cylindrical pipe 39. The shutter 40 is retreated to the innermost part in the exhaust of the cryopump, and closes an inlet surface 37 in regeneration.
