    • PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from being wound irregularly or traveling unstably by performing feedback control over a tape-width directional moving device according to the quantity of displacement of the tape if a sensor detects the width directional position shift of the tape when the tape is sent out or taken up. CONSTITUTION:When the tape 56 is wound irregularly around a reel 55, the tape 56 shifts in position on a back tension post 57. In this case, the post 57 is irradiated with specific light centering on the reference travel position of the tape 56 and its reflected light is detected by a photodetecting element 64. The specularly finished white post 57 differs in reflection factor from the black tape 56, so the tape displacement is measured as variation in the quantity of reflected light from the post surface. Namely, when a detected distance is constant, the quantity of reflected light from the post 57 is reduced and the detected quantity decreases as the tape edge moves down from the reference travel position. Then when the post 57 stops while abutting on a stopper 60, the tape 56 is held at a constant distance to the sensor 61. Then a reel turntable 9 is moved so that the width directional displacement of the tape 56 is eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a random winding of tape by moving a reel base in the axial direction so that inclination and displacement are not caused on a tape between two sensors in accordance with the displacement of a tape when the positional fluctuation in the width direction of the tape is detected at the winding time. CONSTITUTION:It is detected as to whether a tape 56 comes in while descending to a reel 55 or comes in while ascending is detected from the outputs of sensors 60, 61 and a reel base device 65 is controlled so that the tape 56 is wound in parallel to the reel 55 in the case of its being in descending or ascending tendency. Namely, in the case of its coming in while descending, the reel 55 is lifted by the quantity corresponding to the inclination thereof with the electrification to the driving coil 35 of a voice coil motor 68, also in the case of its coming in while ascending to the reel 55, the reel 55 is descended by the quantity corresponding to the inclination by the voice coil motor 68 and the tape 56 is made to be wound in parallel at all times and also by passing through a reference traveling position.

SOLUTION: An outer peripheral wall surface of a dynamic pressure bearing member 13 is formed in such a shape that an outside dimension decreases in a direction away from a fluid seal portion 24 to an axial direction.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality and productivity of a thrust dynamic pressure bearing device with the simple structure. SOLUTION: A bearing member 21 has a through hole 21a having a female screw 21b, following a preparation hole having the maximum length in the axial direction. A thrust plate 23 is pinched between a screw head 24a of the screw member 24 screwed to the female screw member 21b of the through hole 21a and one end of the shaft member 21, and fastened for fixation by the screw member 24 to remarkably improve the connecting strength of the thrust plate 23. The female screw 21b can be easily and efficiently worked in relation to the preparation hole having the through hole 21a at the maximum length by a thread cutting tool provided with enough working length. When machining the female screw 21b, the foreign material such as chips entered in the shaft member 21 can be easily discharged outside through the through hole 21a to obtain excellent cleanness.
