摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress the damage of divertors so as to improve reliability by driving the divertors vertically in reciprocating motion by divertor drive mechanism so as to average heat load caused by ion of impurities and the like colliding against the divertor surface. CONSTITUTION:A pair of divertors 10 are supported on a supporting frame 11 in such a way as to face the dielectric path of helium ion and impurity ion induced along the magnetic surface formed by plasma 5. The flame 11 is connected to drive machenism 12 provided at the lower part in a plasma vacuum vessel 1 and formed in such a way as to be able to transmit vertical reciprocating motion. When a driving signal is supplied to the drive mechanism 12, vertical motion is transmitted to the bottom face part 11c of the frame 11 from the mechanism 12, so that the frame 11 is put in vertical reciprocating motion while the protruding parts of both side face parts 11a, 11b are guided by the grooves of cooling members 13, and the divertors 10 are cooled by the members 13. The collision face of ion of impurities and the like is thereby dispersed, so that heat load received by the divertors 10 can be averaged.

摘要： PURPOSE:To securely support electromagnetic forces in a toroidal and a poloidal direction which operate on a toroidal magnetic field coil by composing a key member, which supports the electromagnetic force operating in the poloidal direction of a vacuum container, of a conic metallic material, and a cylindrical insulating material which covers the surface of the metallic material. CONSTITUTION:The electromagnetic force Q in the toroidal direction which operates on the toroidal magnetic field coil 2 is supported by a support member 6 and the electromagnetic force P in the poloidal direction is supported by the key member 7. When, for example, shearing forces Fa and Fb operate on the key member 7, the shearing forces Fa and Fb can be supported by the metallic material 8 since the key member 7 consists of the conic metallic material 8 and the cylindrical insulating material 9 covering the peripheral surface of the metallic material 8. Consequently, the key member 7 does not break even when a large electromagnetic force operates on the key member 7.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable a toroidal magnet to be cooled sufficiently even in a large experimental nuclear fusion reactor or power reactor, by providing a cooling path for cooling a coil reactor between the coil container and a toroidal coil. CONSTITUTION:A toroidal magnet 10 has a cooling path 11 which is formed as projections or recesses on the inner surface of a coil container 3 on the side of a toroidal coil 2. Thus, the coil container 3 can be initially cooled by passing refrigerant through the cooling path 11. Further, the need of providing a cooling tube 4 is obviated and, therefore, the external sides of the coil container can be utilized well as a space for arranging electromagnetic force support structural member between toroidal magnets 10. The coil container 3 can be cooled from the inside even if it is subjected to nuclear heat generation. In this manner, the toroidal coil can be prevented from being increased in temperature by nuclear heat generation and, hence, it can operate stably even in a large experimental nuclear fusion unit.

CONSTITUTION:Plural stages of the horizontal key grooves 9 are formed on the inside circumferential side of the troidal magnetic 2 formed with edges 8 and the respectively toric keys 10 are fitted into the key grooves 9. The magnets 2 are fixed to each other by the members 10 and the generation of vertical movements in the magnets 2 is obviated. Reliability is, therefore, improved without inducing quenching of a superconductive coil.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the fall accident of a nuclear fusion reactor component due to electromagnetic force by providing an apparatus for supporting the electromagnetic force acting on the component by fluid pressure to the nuclear fusion reactor component on the side of the shield body thereof. CONSTITUTION:The electromagnetic force support apparatus 10 provided o the side of the inside shield body 3 of a sub-limiter SL 9 is equipped with a plurality of hydraulic cylinders 11 operated by water pressure and constituted so as to extend a plurality of the support legs 12 being in contact with the shield body 3 to push out the SL 9 from the surface of the shield body 3 toward a plasma 4. When the pressure of the hydraulic chamber 18 of the cylinder 11 is made higher than that of the hydraulic chamber 17 thereof during the operation of a nuclear fusion reactor, the electromagnetic force F acting on the SL 9 is supported by the apparatus 10. Therefore, the fall accident of the SL 9 due to electromagnetic force F can be prevented at the time of plasma fission. When the SL 9 is drawn out of a vacuum container, the pressure of the hydraulic chamber 18 is made lower than that of the hydraulic chamber 17 and th legs 12 are retracted into the cylinder main body 15.

The liquefier 3 is, therefore, maintained always in the same state and the operating efficiency of the nuclear fusion equipment is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To ensure insertion and removal of a cotter part by making rotatable a piston and the cotter of in-pile structure supporting equipment and by connecting the piston with the cotter by cooling piping bellows. CONSTITUTION:A piston 6 and a cotter 7 are set in a fitting structure wherein they are separated on a rotational face 14 from each other, and the piston 6 is constructed so that the cotter 7 does not run out of the shaft of the piston 6, by providing the shaft of the piston 6 with a stepped part 15. On the other side, the piston 6 is connected with the cotter 7 with a first cooling piping bellows 16 interposed between them, and the piston 6 is connected with a cylinder 8 with a second cooling piping interposed also between them. Since the cotter 7 rotates freely in relation to the piston 6 in this construction, a gap between a vacuum vessel and a sectorial in-pile structure is not parallel to the direction vertical to the surface of paper, and even when the cotter 7 rotates when it is inserted, no damage is caused to a bellows 9 for vacuum sealing by torsion. Since the bellows 16 and 17 are connected to the cotter 7, besides, the cotter 7 can be cooled down sufficiently and the insertion and removal thereof can be ensured.

This maintenance and repair device is inserted into the nuclear fusion reactor and operated remotely to remove foreign matter from the surface of the diverter, and then an armor material on the surface of the diverter is repaired.
