    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge structure 10 capable of preventing rainwater from entering into a ridge even if a ridge tile 22 is damaged and a rafter receiver 14 from being corroded or deteriorated and of minimizing the use amount of a roof soil 18, and a ridge cover 21 enabling the ridge structure 10.
      SOLUTION: The entry of rainwater into the ridge is prevented by the ridge cover 21 even if the ridge tile 22 is damaged by covering the roof soil 18 laid down on crosspiece tiles 17 placed on the right and left sides of the crest of the ridge, the rafter receiver 14, and a rafter 20. The gap between the rear edge 17a of the crosspiece tiles 17 and the side plate 21e of the ridge cover 21 is filled with the roof soil 18. A space without the roof soil 18 is formed between the crosspiece tiles 17 placed on both sides of the ridge in such a manner that the rafter receiver 14 is not buried in the roof soil 18. The amount of the roof soil 18 can be minimized, and the rafter receiver 14 is prevented from being corroded or deteriorated by the roof soil 18.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pantiles for a roof having superior wind resistance with a simple structure.
      SOLUTION: The pantile 10 for the roof has a batten side cutout part 16 formed at a corner part of a batten part 12 and a tail part 14, and an insertion side cutout part 17 formed at a corner part of an insertion part 13 and a head part 15. The pantiles are constituted to be laid so that the insertion side cutout part 17 of the pantile 10C in an obliquely upper stage is loosely fitted to the batten side cutout part 16 of one pantile 10B. Further, a first recess 22 and a second recess 23 are formed at the corner part of the batten side cutout part 16, and a vertical pair of receiving pieces 24, 25 projected into the cutout part are protrusively provided at the second recess to partition a socket 26 by both receiving pieces. The corner part of the insertion side cutout part 17 is protrusively provided with an insertion piece 32 projected into the cutout part. When laid, the pantiles are constituted to loosely fit the insertion piece 32 of the pantile 10C in the obliquely upper stage to the socket 26 of the one pantile 10B.

      SOLUTION: In the formation of the roof ventilation unit, a space is secured between a bottom board 1 and a top board 2, and vent holes 9, 5 are formed at the bottom board 1 and the top board 2, respectively, in a manner laterally shifted from each other, and walls 3 are formed on both lower side surfaces. Then vent holes 4 are formed at upper portions of the walls, respectively, and the bottom board 1 is mounted on a sheathing board of a roof or a top board of the roof truss. When the roof ventilation unit thus formed is mounted to the sheathing board or the top board of the roof truss, the vent hole 9 formed at the bottom board 1 is matched with a vent hole formed at the sheathing board or in the top board of the roof truss. By the structure of the roof ventilation unit, the periphery of the vent hole 9 formed at the bottom board 1 is enclosed with walls 12 rising from the bottom board 1 to the top board 2, and the periphery of the vent hole 5 formed at the top board 2 is enclosed with walls 13 hanging from the top board 2 to the bottom board 1.
