    • PURPOSE:To perform welding by stable power feeding with a simple power feeder in the stage of welding continuously an angle corner part by inserting electrode chips into the holes provided at a specified interval in a welding rod placed horizontally in a weld zone and feeding electric power thereto. CONSTITUTION:A welding rod 4 is placed horizontally along the weld line 3 of objects 1, 2 to be welded and exposing parts 8 of a core wire 5 are formed at a specified interval. Nonconsumable type electrode tips 10 provided with notches 12 are inserted therein so as to contact with the wire 5. Feeders 13 are repectively onnected to the tips 10, and welding is progressed in an arrow 15 direction by the arc 14 generated from the rod 4 at the right end. When the welding arrives at the position of the tip 10a, the notched part 12 is cut off and the current is interrupted. As the welding progresses similarly to the positions of the tips 10b, 10c, the notched parts 12 of the respective electrode chips are cut off and the current is interrupted. The welding is thus stably progressed without requiring an arc sensor, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To fix easily a welding rod in a prescribed position and to improve working efficiency by forming a self-adhesive agent layer between members to be welded and a flux layer, sticking said members and the flux layer to each other via the self-adhesive agent layer and fixing the welding rod along the weld line. CONSTITUTION:A self-adhesive agent layer 10 having elasticity is preliminarily formed on the end face 8 of a welding rod 3 between members 2 to be welded. The rod 3 is transferred to a working place disposed with the members 2-, and is stuck and fixed via the rear surface of the layer 10 by bringing the end face 9 having no layer 10 formed thereon into tight contact with one member 2 so as to form a weld line 1 and to set the rod across the members 2- sandwiching the weld line. A voltage is thereafter applied at both ends of the core wire 6 of the rod 3 and fillet welding is executed.
