    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking device minimizing the transfer distance of a member for marking, while enabling one worker to easily perform marking used as a mark of desired shape in the case of bending a member extended long, to plastically deform the member into the desired shape.
      SOLUTION: The marking device 1 forming the mark M1 used as the reference of the amount of bending when bending the member S1 extended long, on the member S1, has: a base 3; a holding device 5 capable of holding a marking pen PN1; a first moving means 7 capable of moving the base 3 along the longitudinal direction, following a part S1A extending in the longitudinal direction of the member S1; a second moving means 9 for moving the holding device 5 in a different direction from the moving direction by the first moving means 7; a marking data input means for inputting data for forming the mark on the member S1; and a control means for controlling the first moving means 7 and the second moving means 9 according to the inputted data.
