    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the coming-off of a male joint from a female joint by employing a simple and robust joint structure.
      SOLUTION: A between-rings joint comprises: the female joint 10 with an approximately cylindrical fitting body 12, which is provided on a female joint surface 10a; the male joint 20 with a pin 22 for being inserted through the fitting body 12, which is provided on a male joint surface 20a; a locking ring member 30 which is arranged in such a manner as to be fitted into the outer peripheral surface 12a of the fitting body 12; and a push-in ring member 40 which moves the locking ring member 30 in an insertion direction E along with the insertion of the pin 22. As the pin 22 is inserted into the fitting body 12 so that the locking ring member 30 can be moved in the insertion direction E, the fitting body 12 is moved to a radial inside so as to fasten and fix a peripheral portion of the pin 22.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain joining strength of mutual segments constant with a simple and inexpensive structure.
      SOLUTION: In this joining structure of the segment, a male type joint 5 has a bolt (a bar-shaped member) 9 fixed to an interface surface 4a by separating a head part 9a from the interface surface 4a, a guide member 10 installed on the head part side of the bolt 9 via a through-hole 10a arranged in a pipe, and a spacer 11 installed on the base part side of the bolt 9 and holding the guide member 10 on the head part 9a side by separating from the interface surface 4a. A female type joint 6 has a slit 12 for gradually reducing a groove width up to a groove width capable of inserting the other end side spacer 11 from a groove width capable of inserting one end side guide member 10. A head part 9a of the bolt 9 inserted into the slit 12 comprises a locking member 13 locking via the guide member 10 on the reverse surface side on the opposite side of the interface surface 4b, and a restricting member 14 fixed to the reverse surface side of the locking member 13 and regulating expansive deformation of a predetermined value or more in the diametrical direction of the bolt 9 of the guide member 10.

      SOLUTION: In a plurality of the segments being installed on the internal surface of a tunnel and constructing the wall section of the tunnel, the segments have arcuate tabular substrates 2 composed of high-strength concrete, a plurality of tabular webs 3 integrally mounted extensively over overall widths in the cross direction at specified intervals in the longitudinal direction on the internal surface of the substrates 2 and composed of inward projected high-strength concrete, tabular flanges 4 integrally secured at the front end sections of each web 3 and composed of high-strength concrete and main girders 10 integrally fitted to the side sections of the substrates 2, webs 3 and front end sections of the flanges 4. Sections among the adjacent webs 3 and 3 are filled with foamed styrene 5 as fillers 5. Since the unit price can be held down at the low price as compared to the segment, the whole of which is formed of high-strength concrete, the construction cost can be held down inexpensively.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten work periods and reduce a construction cost by mutually connecting adjacent segments easily.
      SOLUTION: In a plurality of the segments being installed on the internal surface of a tunnel and constructing the wall section of the tunnel, the segments have joints 17 composed of one engaging sections 5 mounted on the end faces of one adjacent segments 1 and the other engaging sections 13 secured on the end faces of the other adjacent segments 9 while being engaged with one engaging sections 5. One engaging sections 5 consist of protrusions 6 and recesses 7 continued to the protrusions 6, and the other engaging sections 13 consist of the recesses 15 engaged with the protrusions 6 of one engaging sections 5 and the protrusions 14 continued to the recesses 15 while being engaged with the recesses 7 of one engaging sections 5. The front ends of the recesses 7 and 15 are formed in a wedge shape bitten to sections inner than the front ends of the protrusions 6 and 14 on boundary sections 8 and 16 among the protrusions 6 and 14 and recesses 7 and 15 of each segment 1 and 9.
