    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for piezoelectric vibrator, which is efficient and can supply output stably, without loss of its vibration energy or change in its vibration property. SOLUTION: The holder for piezoelectric vibrator has a box-shaped support member 11, which isolates and accommodates the piezoelectric vibrator 1, and a leaf spring structure 12, which is interposed between the side of this supporting member 11 and the piezoelectric vibrator 1. This leaf spring structure 12 has a first leaf spring member 13, which is fixed to the piezoelectric vibrator, being so turned astride the side of the piezoelectric vibrator as to catch both the opposite sides of the piezoelectric vibrator 1 from the base end fixed to one side of the supporting member 11, and a second leaf spring member 18, which is fixed to the piezoelectric vibrator 1, being so turned astride the side of the piezoelectric vibrator as to catch both the opposite sides of the piezoelectric vibrator 1 from the base end fixed to the other side of the supporting member 11.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrator for an ultrasonic motor having high controllability (positioning accuracy) in a fine movement region and the one having high vibration efficiency that can be obtained by easing the non-linearity of input/output characteristics. SOLUTION: An electrode region which excites curvature vibration and the one that excites expansion and contraction vibration are arranged on all stacked piezoelectric elements. A stacking piezoelectric element is proposed which can control each vibration independently. The non-linearity of the input/output characteristics is eased, so that the operational performance in the fine movement region of the vibrator for the ultrasonic motor can be enhanced.
