    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a solvent from a polymer solution in a good efficiency.
      SOLUTION: This method for removing the solvent using a device equipped with a piping for connecting the gas phase part of a rear stage side solvent-removing tank with the liquid phase part of a front stage side solvent-removing tank and an openness-adjusting means (a pressure-adjusting valve, etc.) arranged at the piping, and removing the solvent (cyclohexane, etc.) from the polymer solution (ethylene-α-olefin-non-conjugated diene copolymer rubber, etc.) with a steam-stripping, etc., is provided by adjusting pressure so that the pressure difference between each of the gas phase parts of the solvent-removing tanks at the rear stage side and front stage side becomes larger by 0.005-0.6 MPa (especially by 0.05-0.3 MPa) than that in the case of wholly opening the openness-adjusting means. Also, in another method for removing the solvent, the pressure is adjusted so that the pressure difference of each the gas phase parts of the solvent-removing tanks at the rear stage side and front stage side becomes ≥0.036 MPa (especially, ≥0.1 MPa).

The manufacturing method enables a sufficient removal of the solvent and the manufacture of a cyclic olefinic resin sheet or film having a stable quality. The manufacturing method enables holding down the quality deterioration due to the heat history of the cyclic olefin resin sheet or film. The manufacturing method enables simplifying the facilities, saving heat energy and manufacturing the cyclic olefinic resin sheet or film economically.
