    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the blowing out of the lumps of a coating material at the time of starting coating by extending at least two fluid passages connected to a spraying device through a valve device and providing this valve device with a slide in its guide duct in order to open and close these fluid passages. SOLUTION: The valve device 70 built in the adapter of this spray coating applicator is provided with the two fluid passages 22, 26 so as to penetrate the valve device. The valve device 70 is constituted by fitting the slide 74 in the guide duct 76 in order to open and close these fluid passages 22, 26. The first fluid passage 26 is partly constituted as a control pressure space 88 formed in the guide duct 76. The slide 74 is made movable from a close position to an open position against a spring 86 by the fluid pressure of the fluid passage 26. The housing 72 of the guide duct 76 is provided with a fluid inlet 79 and a fluid outlet 82. This fluid inlet 78 is opened to a slide end face 90 regardless of the position of the slide 74 and the fluid outlet 82 is so disposed as to be shut off in the close position of the slide 74.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray coating apparatus which can decrease the wear of seals between a spray apparatus and a supporting member by a simple method at a low cost, thus prolonging the life of the seals, and can prevent leak flow without fail even when the pressure of a coating material or/and other fluid is high. SOLUTION: A clamping member (26) of a clamping means (6) is fixed to either a spray apparatus (2) or a support member (4) so as to be rotatable against both the spray apparatus and the support member and has a first clamping face (32). A second clamping face (34) is formed on the other of the two parts (2, 4). The rotating shaft (28) of the clamping member is extending in the direction of clamping. By rotating the clamping member against the two parts (2, 4), the first and second clamping faces are tightly put together and the spray apparatus (2) and the support member (4) are clamped together. Seals (8-3, 9-3, 10-3, 11-3, and 12-3) are held between the spray apparatus and the support member.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray coating device which can be rapidly and easily connected to a carrier element without shaking to each other and again can be selectively disconnected rapidly. SOLUTION: In this spray coating device which enables the rapid installation of a spray device 2 at a carrier plate 4, this carrier plate 4 is connected to an adapter 46 suited for various use applications. The spray device 2 is connected to the carrier plate 4 with the help of rotary claming fasteners 6, 7 which make it possible to mutually connect the two components 2, 4 absolutely without shaking in such a state that the spray device 2 is connected, in consequence of the relative rotary motion of the two components 2, 4. Further, a fluid duct passing through the adapter 46, the carrier plate 4 and the spray device 2 are positively sealed with a sealing material through rotary clamping connection. The rotary clamping connection is prevented from being accidentally disconnected by a locking means 34.
