    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trailing carriage for a tunnel boring machine, the overall length of which is reduced.
      SOLUTION: In this trailing carriage for the tunnel boring machine, a plurality of connected carriage bodies 3a-3c, which are arranged in the rear of the tunnel boring machine a, are equipped with: hydraulic pumps 6x and 6y for supplying hydraulic pressure to various pieces of hydraulic equipment provided in the machine a, respectively; electric motors 7x and 7y for driving the hydraulic pumps 6x and 6y; a starting panel f for starting the electric motors 7x and 7y; control valves 8a-8e which are provided in a hydraulic circuit for connecting the hydraulic pumps 6x and 6y to the various pieces of hydraulic equipment; and an operating panel h for controlling the starting panel f. The operating panel h and the starting panel f are integrated together so as to serve as an operation starting panel 9; an operating panel part 9y and a starting panel part 9x, which constitute the operation starting panel 9, are connected together by means of an internal circuit 10; the operation starting panel 9 is mounted on the carriage body 3a; and a space for mounting the operation starting panel 9 on the carriage body 3a is made narrow.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the position and attitude of a segment with high reliability and simple constitution.
      SOLUTION: This device is constituted to measure the position and attitude of an assembled segment 4 newly assembled to existing segments 3 assembled to the inner surface of a tunnel. The device is provided with a grip block 29 for gripping and fixing the assembled segment 4; at least two axial sensors 42, 42 provided at the tunnel axial portal side end part of the grip block 29 at a prescribed space in the circumferential direction of the tunnel to detect whether a distance from the sensor itself to the axial working face side edge 3a of the existing segment 3 is a prescribed distance: and an operation part 49 for computing the yaw attitude of the assembled segment 4 based on a detection lag from the detection of the prescribed distance by one axial sensor 42 to the detection of the prescribed distance by the other axial sensor 42 when bringing the grip block 29 close to the existing segment 3.
